Abstract
Tower cranes are essential in the construction of high-rise buildings to move materials quickly. However, sometimes mistakes occur that cause work accidents, such as falling materials when being lifted, materials hitting the project building structure, one of the hook ropes coming loose so that the cast material falls down, or PPE that is not used properly resulting in workers' heads being hit by falling materials. In addition, there is still a lack of attention and supervision of the implementation of SOPs in the use of tower cranes. Therefore, this research further studies the factors that cause work accidents, such as worker skills, work environment conditions, and crane instrumentation using a quantitative approach descriptive method conducted through interviews, respondents' perceptions, and questionnaire surveys of 60 workers at the research site, the results were analysed using the SPSS version 24 program. The purpose of this research is to obtain the dominant factors that cause accidents, minimise the risk of work accidents and provide ideal solutions in the application of SOPs. The results showed that the crane instrumentation factor was more dominant, having a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. As for the t count, the value obtained is 8.235> t table (2.003), so the Crane instrumentation factor is very influential on the performance measurement variable of SOP implementation which is useful for reducing the risk of accidents. The ideal solution to the use and control of crane instrumentation on the implementation of SOPs include; maintenance and regular checks on equipment components and fittings are carried out. In addition, it must get support from all parties and is obliged to run without exception and provide strict sanctions against violators which is the keyword for the success of realising "zero acccidents" with the application of Standard of Procedure (SOP). Keywords: Standard of procedure (SOP), tower crane, zero-accidents Tower crane sangat penting dalam pembangunan gedung bertingkat tinggi untuk memindahkan material dengan cepat. Namun, terkadang terjadi kesalahan yang menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja, seperti bahan material jatuh saat diangkat, bahan material mengenai struktur bangunan proyek, salah satu tali pengait lepas sehingga bahan cor jatuh ke bawah, atau APD yang tidak digunakan dengan benar mengakibatkan kepala pekerja terkena jatuhan material. Selain itu, masih kurang perhatian dan pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan SOP dalam penggunaan tower crane. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja, seperti keahlian pekerja, kondisi lingkungan kerja, dan instrumentasi crane dengan menggunakan metode deskriftif pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilakukan melalui wawancara, persepsi responden, dan survei kuesioner terhadap 60 pekerja di lokasi penelitian, hasilnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 24. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan faktor dominan penyebab kecelakaan, meminalisir risiko kecelakaan kerja dan memberikan solusi ideal dalam penerapan SOP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor instrumentasi crane lebih dominan, memiliki nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. Sedangkan untuk t hitung didapatkan nilai sebesar 8.235 > ttabel (2.003) maka faktor instrumentasi Crane sangat berpengaruh terhadap variabel pengukuran kinerja penerapan SOP yang bermanfaat untuk mengurangi risiko kecelakaan. Solusi ideal pada penggunaan dan pengendalian instrumentasi crane terhadap penerapan SOP antara lain; pemeliharan dan pengecekan rutin pada komponen peralatan dan kelengkapan dilakukan. Selain itu, harus mendapatkan dukungan dari semua pihak serta berkewajiban untuk menjalankan tanpa terkecuali dan memberikan sanksi tegas terhadap pelanggar yang merupakan kata kunci keberhasilan mewujudkan “zero acccidents” dengan penerapan Standart of Procedure (SOP).
