Abstract

This study discussed the problem of the company's image based on the perspective of the community. Referring to the issues observed, the good image of the company was affected by the case of automatic extension of timedeposits during the covid19 pandemic, resulting in customers unable to withdraw their funds. Concepts and theories related to communication strategies and positive images were utilized in this study to answer the main problem identified. In addition, this study was classified as a qualitative study. Data were collected by means of in-depth interviews with informants. The results showed that the KSPSB communication strategy could be done by initially getting to know the audience in order to develop effective communication; composing the message, after knowing the audience and the situation, the communicator should further compose a systematic message, and determine the redundancy method, namely influencing the audience by repeating the message to the audience. Repeated messages will significantly attract the attention of the audience. Furthermore, the audience will be more likely to remember the message that is delivered repeatedly. The communicator will be able to correct errors in the message delivered earlier. The communication strategy also includes the Canalizing method. The communicator should initially get to know the audience and start conveying ideas according to the personality, attitudes and motives of the audience. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai permasalahan citra perusahaan di mata masyarakat. Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah terjadi isu permasalahan terhadap citra baik perusahaan dengan terjadinya adanya kasus perpanjangan otomatis simpanan berjangka selama pandemi covid19 sehingga membuat nasabah tidak dapat mengambil dananya. Untuk menjawab persoalan pokok skripsi, digunakan konsep dan teori yang berkaitan dengan strategi komunikasi dan citra positif. Sedangkan pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam kepada informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi komunikasi KSPSB meliputi mengenal khalayak, langkah pertama bagi komunikator agar komunikasi yang dilakukan berjalan dengan efektif; Menyusun Pesan, setelah mengenal khlayak dan situasi, maka langkah selanjutnya adalah menyusun pesan yang sistematis, dan menetapkan metode redudancy, yaitu mempengaruhi khalayak dengan jalan mengulang pesan kepada khalayak. Pesan yang diulang akan menarik perhatian. Selain itu khalayak akan lebih mengingat pesan yang telah disampaikan secara berulang. Komunikator dapat memperoleh kesempatan untuk memperbaiki kesalahan dalam penyampaian sebelumnya dan metode Canalizing, komunikator terlebih dahulu mengenal khalayaknya dan mulai menyampaikan ide sesuai dengan kepribadian, sikapsikap dan motif khalayak
