Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Current Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Total Asset Turnover, Return on Assets, and Debt to Equity Ratio on profit growth in LQ45 index companies for the 2018-2021 period. The population in this study is 63 companies that are members of the LQ45 index for the 2018-2021 period. The samples used were 23 LQ45 index companies for the 2018-2021 period with the sampling method using the purposive sampling method. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the company's official website. The data collection method uses the documentation method, by collecting the company's annual financial reports. The data analysis method uses panel data regression analysis with the help of E-Views10 software. This study gives the results of the Current Ratio has a negative effect on profit growth. Net Profit Margin, Return on Assets, and Debt to Equity Ratio have a positive effect on profit growth. Total Asset Turnover has no effect on profit growth. Keywords: Current Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Total Asset Turnover, Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio, Profit Growth Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Current Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Total Asset Turnover, Return on Asset, dan Debt to Equity Ratio terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada perusahaan indeks LQ45 periode 2018-2021. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 63 perusahaan yang tergabung dalam indeks LQ45 periode 2018-2021. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 23 perusahaan indeks LQ45 periode 2018-2021 dengan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia dan website resmi perusahaan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, dengan mengumpulkan laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan bantuan software E-Views10. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil Current Ratio berpengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Net Profit Margin, Return on Asset, dan Debt to Equity Ratio berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Total Asset Turnover tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan laba.
