Abstract

During the pandemic, learning via online media which was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, caused a decrease in student motivation. This is a large-scale social restriction. This activity is no exception to the teaching and learning activities carried out by the students of SDN 06 Pagi Meruya Selatan. However, during the pandemic, all these activities changed, all schools had to implement a home learning system or Distance Learning (PJJ). The purpose of this research is to look at the planning process carried out by parents in order to motivate their children to study well from home. In this research, researchers used a qualitative approach method with data collection techniques, namely using interview techniques. This research also looks at the series in the planning process, implementation and final results or evaluation which will form the information that will be provided by the researcher, which will discuss the process of communication planning or communication strategies carried out by parents in order to arouse enthusiasm for learning in their children. their children, see what supporting media are used by both parents and teachers, see the children's reactions when they carry out learning activities from home, and see the role of the Distance Learning (PJJ) method and the impact it has, which is also known that this method will be the forerunner of the implementation of teaching and learning activities that will be carried out in the future with the help of several web-based supporting technologies. Keywords: Pandemic, Strategy of Communication, Parenting, Motivation, Distance Learning Pada masa pandemi pembelajaran melalui media online yang dilaksanakan selama pandemiccovid-19, menyebabkan penurunan motivasi siswa. Hal tersebut merupakan pembatasan sosial berskala besar. Kegiatan tersebut tidak kecuali dengan kegiatan belajar mengajar yang dilakukan oleh para murid SDN 06 Pagi Meruya Selatan. Akan tetapi, pada masa pandemi kegiatan tersebut berubah semuanya, semua sekolah harus menerapkan sistem belajar dari rumah atau Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Tujuan adanya penelitian ini adalah melihat proses dari perencanaan apa saja yang dilakukan oleh orang tua agar dapat memotivasi anak-anak mereka untuk melakukan belajar dari rumah dengan baik. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memakai metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data yaitu menggunakan teknik wawancara. Dalam penelitian ini juga dilihat rangkaian dalam proses perencanaannya, implementasi serta hasil akhir atau evaluasi yang akan menjadikan sebuah informasi yang akan diberikan oleh peneliti, dimana akan membahas terkait dengan proses rencana komunikasi atau strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh orang tua agar membangkitkan semangat belajar dari anak-anak mereka, melihat apa saja media pendukung yang digunakan baik orang tua dan guru, melihat reaksi anak-anak pada saat mereka melakukan kegiatan belajar dari rumah, serta melihat peran dari metode Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) tersebut dan dampak yang ditimbulkan, yang diketahui juga bahwa metode tersebut nantinya merupakan cikal bakal dari penerapan kegiatan belajar mengajar yang akan dilakukan di masa yang akan datang dengan dibantu beberapa teknologi pendukung berbasis web.
