Abstract
The use of technology that refers to information systems strategic planning is very influential in maintaining organizational excellence. This is also the key to the success of the system information function and as a crucial factor in achieving the company's objective goals. That way, a company or organization can survive and have long-term readiness to be able to compete. Of the many companies/organizations that have not implemented Information Systems strategic planning, one of them is M-Knows Consulting. As a result of not implementing IT/IS strategic planning at M-Knows consulting, the internal planning, control and monitoring system is still inefficient for carrying out operations and also making decisions to solve a problem. Seeing these problems, it is necessary to make improvements to improve the performance of existing business processes, as well as to facilitate the work of employees and staff and increase time efficiency in carrying out these jobs. Therefore, proper and accurate IS/IT strategic planning is needed to solve the problems that exist in the M-Knows Consulting company. In this study using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method. The tools used include business process Value Chain, SWOT Analysis, business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture. Keywords: Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP), IS/IT Strategic Planning, M-Knows Consulting. Penggunaan teknologi yang mengacu pada perencanaan strategis sistem informasi adalah hal yang sangat berpengaruh dalam mempertahankan keunggulan organisasi. Hal ini juga merupakan kunci keberhasilan fungsi keterangan sistem dan sebagai faktor krusial dalam mencapai tujuan objektif pada perusahaan. Dengan begitu, suatu perusahaan atau orgranisasi dapat bertahan dan memiliki kesiapan jangka panjang untuk dapat bersaing. Dari banyaknya perusahaan/organisasi yang belum menerapkan perencanaan strategis Sistem Informasi, salah satunya adalah M-Knows Consulting. Akibat dari belum menerapkan perencanaan strategi TI/SI diM-Knows consulting mengakibatkan sistem perencanaan, pengendalian, danpengawasan secara internal masih belum efisien untuk menjalankan operasional dan juga mengambil sebuah keputusan untuk menyelesaikan sebuah masalah. Melihat permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan adanya perbaikan guna meningkatkan kinerja proses bisnis yang ada, serta untuk mempermudah pekerjaan karyawan dan staff serta meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dalam pengerjaan pekerjaan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkannya perencanaan strategis SI/TI yang tepat dan akurat untuk menyeleseaikan permasalahan yang terdapat di perusahaan M-Knows Consulting. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP). alat yang digunakan meliputi Value Chain proses bisnis, Analisis SWOT, arsitektur bisnis, arsitektur data, arsitektur aplikasi, arsitektur tekhnologi.
