Abstract

The Irrigation aim is to help increasing the food yields. Besides improve the welfare of farmers, it also can help national economic growth through the agricultural sector. One of the irrigation areas in Sleman Regency is in Depok District which has of 35.5 Km2 area consisting of 3 villages and 58 hamlets, with a population of 122761 people (BPS, 2020). The Aim of this study is to increase food yields by analyzing the availability of water and water demand on existing cropping patterns and planned cropping patterns. The method are used to analyze the water availability and the planting areas that are using NRECA method. From the results of the analysis, for a land area with 30.98 ha needs required discharge of 0.05 m3/s, for area planting maximum with 46.32 ha wich are need a required discharge of 0.07 m3/s. It can concluded that the availability of water can fuffil the existing of planting area and can expand the planting area with the available discharge. Key words: Availability of water, Farming Patterns, Water Needs, Planting Area Irigasi bertujuan untuk membantu peningkatan hasil pangan. Selain dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani, dapat pula membantu pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional melalui sektor pertanian. Salah satu daerah irigasi di Kabupaten Sleman terdapat pada Kecamatan Depok yang memiliki luas wilayah 35,5 Km2 terdiri dari 3 desa dan 58 dusun, dengan jumlah penduduk 122761 jiwa (BPS, 2020). Penelitian ini bertujuan demi meningkatkan hasil pangan dengan cara menganalisis ketersediaan air dan kebutuhan air pada pola tanam yang ada dan pola tanam rencana. Metode yang dipakai unruk menganalisis ketersediaan air dan luas lahan tanam dengan Metode NRECA. Dari hasil analisis untuk luas lahan 30,98 ha dengan debit yang dibutuhkan sebesar 0,05 m3/dtk, untuk luas lahan tanam maksimal sebesar 46,32 ha dengan debit yang dibutuhkan 0,07 m3/dtk. Disimpulkan bahwa ketersediaan air yang ada dapat memenuhuhi lahan tanam yang ada dan dapat memperluas daerah tanam dengan debit yang tersedia.
