Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara Perceived Organizational Support (POS) dan Work Performance pada perusahaan pertambangan dan jual beli alat berat di wilayah JABODETABEK. Partisipan penelitian melibatkan 156 karyawan yang saat ini bekerja aktif di industry perusahaan pertambangan dan jual beli alat berat. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan menerapkan teknik convenience sampling. Media sosial, seperti LinkedIn, digunakan sebagai sarana utama untuk mendistribusikan kuesioner, sedangkan Google Forms digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil dari pengumpulan data tidak terdisbusi normal. Hasil analisis korelasi menggunakan metode Spearman mengungkapkan adanya hubungan positif antara work performance dan POS. Semakin tinggi POS yang dirasakan oleh karyawan, semakin tinggi juga tingkat work performance yang mereka tunjukkan. Hasil kategorisasi data mengindikasikan bahwa mayoritas karyawan di perusahaan pertambangan dan jual beli alat berat merasakan tingkat POS yang berkisar dari tinggi hingga sangat tinggi. Sementara itu, tingkat work performance berada pada kategori sedang. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa semakin tinggi jenjang pendidikan dan penghasilan perbulan yang dimiliki oleh karyawan, semakin tinggi juga tingkat work performance yang ditunjukkan oleh karyawan tersebut. Kata Kunci : Perceived Organizational Support, Work Performance This study aims to identify the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support (POS) and Work Performance in mining and heavy equipment trading companies within the JABODETABEK region. The research participants involve 156 actively working employees in the mining and heavy equipment trading industry. A quantitative method is employed in this research, utilizing the convenience sampling technique. Social media platforms such as LinkedIn serve as the primary means for distributing questionnaires, while Google Forms is used as a tool for data collection. The results of data collection are not normally distributed. The correlation analysis using the Spearman method reveals a positive relationship between work performance and POS. The higher the POS perceived by employees, the higher the level of work performance they exhibit. Data categorization results indicate that the majority of employees in the mining and heavy equipment trading companies experience a range of POS levels from high to very high. Meanwhile, work performance is categorized as moderate. Additionally, the study finds that the higher the educational attainment and monthly income of employees, the higher the level of work performance demonstrated by those employees.
