Abstract

Construction projects, especially road improvement, cannot be separated from the tender process. The strategy used by contractors at auction varies. However, the goal is the same to win the project being auctioned. The purpose of this research is to find out which method of bidding strategy is the most appropriate as an alternative to the project bidding process of the road improvement project. Data collection using interviews and documentation of the bidding documents. After doing the research, the optimum mark-up value of Friedman's method is -14% for multiple discrete distributions, -16% for multi normal distributions and 3% for single normal distributions and Gates' method is worth 4% for multiple discrete distributions, 3% for multiple normal distributions and 0.61% for a single normal distribution. As well as obtaining the most appropriate bid strategy method as an alternative in the project auction process, which depends on each contractor in accordance with the company's work needs. Keywords: Bid Strategy, Friedman Model, Gates Model, Mark Up Proyek konstruksi khususnya peningkatan jalan tidak lepas dari proses pelelangan. Strategi yang digunakan oleh kontraktor pada pelelangan berbeda-beda. Namun, tujuannya sama-sama untuk memenangkan proyek yang dilelang. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui metode strategi penawaran yang paling tepat dijadikan alternatif pada proses pelelangan proyek pada proyek peningkatan jalan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi dari dokumen penawaran. Setelah dilakukan penelitian diperoleh nilai mark up optimum dari metode Friedman bernilai -14% untuk multi distribusi discrete, -16% untuk multi distribusi normal dan 3% untuk single distribusi normal dan metode Gates bernilai 4% untuk multi distribusi discrete, 3% untuk multi distribusi normal dan 0.61% untuk single distribusi normal. Serta diperoleh metode strategi penawaran yang paling tepat dijadikan alternatif pada proses pelelangan proyek yaitu bergantung kepada masing – masing kontraktor sesuai dengan kebutuhan pekerjaan perusahaan.
