Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh father involvement terhadap self – esteem pada pekerja dewasa awal di Jabodetabek dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pada penelitian ini melibatkan variabel independent yaitu self – esteem berdasarkan teori Rosenberg adalah keseluruhan rasa kelayakan seseorang secara pribadi. Variabel dependent yaitu father involvement berdasarkan teori Goncy dan Van Dulmen adalah keterlibatan ayah atau peran ayah dalam pengasuhan anak dalam berbagai aspek setiap perkembangan anak. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini 300 sampel pekerja dewasa awal berusia 20 – 30 tahun menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara father involvement terhadap self – esteem pada pekerja dewasa awal di Jabodetabek. Kata Kunci : father involvement, self – esteem , pekerja dewasa awal The research aims to learn of the influence of father involvement on self-esteem in early adult workers in jabodetachment with a quantitative approach. In the study involves the independent variable self - esteem based on rosenberg's theory is the overall sense of personal worth. Involvement based on goncy theory and van dulmen is involvement of the father or father in child rearing in various aspects of each child's development. The number of samples in this study was 300 samples of early 20-30 adult worker samples using a high-powered sampling technique using data analysis techniques using simple linear regression analysis. Research reveals that there is significant influence between father involvement with self - esteem in early adult workers at Jabodetabek.
