Abstract
ABSTRAK Pada awal tahun 2020, virus corona mulai memasuki negara Indonesia sehingga menerapkan kebijakan bekerja dari rumah atau work from home (WFH). Kebijakan WFH memiliki andil dalam perubahan kinerja karyawan. Kinerja karyawan penting dalam tumbuh kembang perusahaan salah satu faktornya yaitu kecerdasan emosi yang dapat bermanfaat dalam membuat keputusan, mencari solusi dari sebuah masalah, dan berkomunikasi dengan teman atau partner kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dengan kinerja karyawan di PT X. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 24. Responden yang digunakan karyawan PT. X berjumlah 130 responden dengan teknik yang digunakan accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online melalui google form. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kinerja karyawan PT X. Saran pada penelitian ini yaitu perusahaan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial karyawan agar karyawan lebih maksimal untuk bekerja. Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional, Kinerja Karyawan, Work From Home, Covid 19 ABSTRACT At the beginning of 2020, the corona virus began to enter Indonesia so that it implemented a work from home (WFH) policy. WFH policies have contributed to changes in employee performance. Employee performance is important in the growth and development of a company, one of the factors is emotional intelligence which can be useful in making decisions, finding solutions to a problem, and communicating with friends or work partners. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence on employee performance at PT X. This research method is quantitative correlational. Processed using SPSS version 24. Respondents used by employees of PT. X amounted to 130 respondents with the technique used accidental sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that was distributed online via the Google form. Based on the results of the study, namely that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence on the performance of PT X employees. The suggestion in this study is that companies can improve employee social skills so that employees are more optimal at work.
