Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra tubuh terhadap self efficacy pada remaja akhir. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja akhir yang berjumlah 106 orang yang berusia 17-20 tahun. Penelitian ini berhipotesis bahwa terdapat adanya pengaruh citra tubuh terhadap self efficacy pada remaja akhir. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala citra tubuh (MBSRQ-AS) dan skala self efficacy (The Self Efficacy Scale) dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Skala citra citra tubuh memiliki nilai koefisien reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach dengan faktor appearance evaluation sebesar 0,676 dan faktor appearance orientation sebesar 0,764. Sedangkan skala self efficacy memiliki nilai koefisien reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach dengan faktor general sebesar 0,880 dan faktor sosial sebesar 0,596. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda karena memiliki satu variable bebas dan satu variabel terikat yang masing masing memiliki 2 faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai R Square dari faktor appearance evaluation dan appearance orientation terhadap self efficacy faktor general sebesar 0,217 dengan presentase 21,7%. Sedangkan nilai R square dari faktor appearance evaluation dan appearance orientation terhadap self efficacy faktor sosial sebesar 0,121 dengan presentase 12,1%. Kata Kunci: Citra Tubuh, Self Efficacy This study aims to determine the effect of body image on selfefficacy in late adolescence. The subjects in this study were late teens, totaling 106 people aged 17-20 years. This study hypothesizes that there is an influence of body image on self-efficacy in late adolescence. Data collection tools used are body image scale (MBSRQ-AS) and self efficacy scale (The Self Efficacy Scale) using a Likert scale. The body image scale has a Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient with an appearance evaluation factor of 0.676 and an appearance orientation factor of 0.764. While the self-efficacy scale has a Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient with a general factor of 0.880 and a social factor of 0.596. Data analysis used multiple linear regression because it has one independent variable and one dependent variable, each of which has 2 factors. The results showed that the R Square value of the appearance evaluation factor and appearance orientation to the general factor self-efficacy was 0.217 with a percentage of 21.7%. While the R square value of the appearance evaluation factor and appearance orientation towards the self-efficacy of social factors is 0.121 with a percentage of 12.1%.
