Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya propaganda LGBT dalam beberapa potongan scene dalam film serial Baymax yang ada di Disney+Hotstar. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teori resepsi Stuart Hall dominant-hegemonic position. Penelitian ini melibatkan empat informan yang menonton film tersebut dan memberikan tanggapan mereka terhadap propaganda LGBT yang ada di dalamnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat propaganda LGBT dalam beberapa potongan scene dalam film serial Baymax. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terdapat, informan berada pada posisi dominan yang menerima propaganda tersebut, informan pada posisi negosiasi yang mempertimbangkan pandangan yang berbeda, dan informan pada posisi oposisi yang menolak propaganda tersebut. Adanya propaganda LGBT dalam beberapa potongan scene dalam film serial Baymax dapat mempengaruhi pandangan penonton. Oleh karena itu, para pembuat film sebaiknya mempertimbangkan dampak dari propaganda tersebut pada penonton dan masyarakat secara umum. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi penelitian selanjutnya mengenai propaganda LGBT dalam media hiburan. Kata kunci : Analisis, Film, Baymax, Disney+Hotstar This study aims to analyze the presence of LGBT propaganda in several scenes of the Baymax TV series available on Disney+Hotstar. The study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with Stuart Hall's dominant-hegemonic position reception theory. The study involves four informants who watched the film and provided their responses to the LGBT propaganda in it. The results of the study show that there is LGBT propaganda in several scenes of the Baymax TV series. The conclusion of this study is that the informants are in a dominant position that accepts the propaganda, an informant is in a negotiating position that considers different perspectives, and an informant is in an opposing position that rejects the propaganda. The presence of LGBT propaganda in several scenes of the Baymax TV series can influence the viewers' perspectives. Therefore, filmmakers should consider the impact of such propaganda on the audience and society in general. This study can serve as a reference for further research on LGBT propaganda in entertainment media. Keyword : Analysis, Film, Baymax, Disney+ Hotstar
