Abstract

Profit growth from year to year is one indicator of achieving better company performance. Based on industry research data, there are problems with the profitability ratios of Food and Beverage companies from 2017 to 2021, so they must be evaluated. Financial ratios can be used as an early warning system against a decline in the financial condition of a company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity (DER), and Return On Assets (ROA), and Total Asset Turnover (TAT) on profit growth in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. the period 2017 to 2021. The research design used is a causal research design to test hypotheses about the effect of several independent variables on the dependent variable. The study was conducted on ten food and beverages companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2021. The data source used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of food and beverages companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the end of the accounting year in December 31, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Data was collected using the documentation method. After the data is obtained, the data is then processed and analyzed using multiple regression analysis, by conducting simultaneous tests, and partial tests. The research results show that the variables Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Asset Turnover (TAT) have a significant influence on profit growth. Keywords Current Ratio, Debt to Equity, Total Asset Turnover, Profit Growth Pertumbuhan laba dari tahun ke tahun, merupakan salah satu indikator tercapainya kinerja perusahaan yang semakin baik. Berdasarkan data industri research, terdapat permasalahan pada rasio profitabilitas perusahaan Food and Beverage dari tahun 2017 hingga tahun 2021, sehingga harus dievaluasi. Rasio keuangan dapat dipakai sebagai sistem peringatan awal terhadap kemunduran kondisi keuangan dari suatu perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity (DER), dan Return On Asset (ROA), dan Total Asset Turnover (TAT) terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017 sampai dengan 2021. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian kausal untuk menguji hipotesis tentang pengaruh beberapa variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap sepuluh perusahaan food and beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia sejak tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2021. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan food and beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan akhir tahun pembukuan pada tanggal 31 Desember 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, dan 2021. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Setelah data diperoleh, data kemudian diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, dengan melakukan uji simultan, dan uji parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan Total Asset Turnover (TAT) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba.
