Abstract

In the development of communication systems in today's digital era, communication systems that use internet protocol (IP) have been widely used in operational activities in a company. Over time, Conventional Telephony has begun to be abandoned because it is less than optimal due to frequent disconnections, as well as increasing user needs demanding changes to the quality, cost and management of the communication system itself. With these demands, researchers provide a solution by making a communication system using VoIP. In this report, the researchers discussed the implementation of voice over internet protocol (voip) on the Elastix server using the Session Initiation Protocol (sip). The object of research and the data collection mechanism are carried out at Building Management The H Tower. System performance is monitored and evaluated based on QoS testing including Delay, Jitter and Packet Loss parameters with a test scheme based on variations in data transmission. The test is divided into two stages, the first stage is Extension to Extension and the second stage is Extension to PTSN with the test bandwidth given varies from 64 Kbps, 128 Kbps, 256 Kbps, 512 Kbps and 1 Mbps, the value obtained is for the Delay parameter. are 0.7 ms and 11 ms, the Jitter parameter is 7 ms and 11 ms, the Packet Loss parameter is 0.3% and 0.5%, the quantitative parameter confirms that it shows good quality. Key words: VOIP; Protocol; Elastix; Server; NDLC; Network Optimization; QoS Dalam perkembangan system komunikasi di era digital saat ini, system komunikasi yang menggunakan internet protocol (IP) telah banyak digunakan dalam kegiatan operasional di suatu perusahaan. Seiring waktu, Telpon Konvensional telah mulai ditinggalkan karena kurang optimal karena sering terjadi putus koneksi, serta meningkatnya kebutuhan pengguna menuntut perubahan terhadap kualitas, biaya dan management pada system komunikasi itu sendiri. Dengan adanya tuntutan tersebut peneliti memberikan solusi dengan membuat sistem komunikasi menggunakan voip. Pada laporan ini peneliti membahas tentang implementasi voice over internet protocol (voip) pada Elastix server menggunakan Session Initiation Protocol (sip). Objek penelitian serta mekanisme pengumpulan data dilakukan di Building Management The H Tower. Kinerja sistem dipantau dan dievaluasi berdasarkan pengujian QoS meliputi parameter Delay, Jitter dan Packet Loss dengan skema pengujian berdasarkan variasi transmisi data. Pengujian dibagi menjadi dua tahap, tahap peratama yaitu Extension to Extension dan pada tahap kedua yaitu Extension to PTSN dengan pengujian bandwidth yang diberikan berbeda – beda dari 64 Kbps, 128 Kbps, 256 Kbps, 512 Kbps dan 1 Mbps, nilai yang diperoleh untuk parameter Delay adalah 0,7 ms dan 11 ms, parameter Jitter adalah 7 ms dan 11 ms, parameter Packet Loss adalah 0,3% dan 0,5 %, Parameter kuantitatif mengkonfirmasi menunjukan kualitas yang baik.
