Abstract

Recruitment is an important thing for the company, in acquiring prospective new employees to occupy a position. Most companies, recruitment process is still not done by a professional. This happens because there is no systematic method to assess the feasibility of prospective new employees. Recruitment decision support system applications are built using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method was chosen because it can determine the weight values for each attribute, and then proceed with the ranking process that will select the best alternative from several alternatives. In this case, the alternative is entitled to be accepted as a new employee in accordance with the criteria specified. Based on test results, a system built to simplify and speed up the selection process for recruitment, and assist Human Resources Department (HRD) managers in decision-making to determine a new employee at a company. Keywords: Decision Support Systems, Recruitment, Criteria, Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Penerimaan karyawan baru atau rekrutmen adalah hal yang penting bagi perusahaan untuk memperoleh calon karyawan baru dalam menduduki suatu jabatan. Pada sebagian perusahaan, proses penerimaan karyawan baru masih belum dilakukan secara professional. Hal ini terjadi karena tidak ada metode standar yang sistematis untuk menilai kelayakan calon pegawai baru. Aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan penerimaan karyawan baru yang dibangun menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Metode ini dipilih karena dapat menentukan nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses perankingan yang akan menyeleksi alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif, dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksud adalah yang berhak diterima sebagai karyawan baru berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem yang dibangun dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat proses penyeleksian penerimaan karyawan baru dan membantu manajer divisi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk menentukan pegawai baru di suatu perusahaan. Kata kunci: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Perekrutan, Kriteria, Simple Additive Weighting (SAW).
