Abstract
The background of this research is because there is still a patriarchal system in Indonesia in this modern era. Because of this, the writer wants to examine whether this patriarchal system is very influential in society, especially after Kartini's time, who tried hard to fight patriarchy. This is illustrated in Yuni's film, where there is still a lot of patriarchy in modern times. The purpose of this study is to find out how deep patriarchy is in Indonesia today and how Kartini's spirit is today. This study uses qualitative methods and reception analysis. Data collected by interview technique. Respondents in this study were 10 people who were students of Mercu Buana University from various campuses. The informants were examined using reception analysis. And using qualitative research methods. The results of research on Kartini's spirit in women's emancipation, equalization of education, and equalization of rights and freedoms between women and men. Keywords: patriarchy, Indonesia, Kartini, Yuni Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena masih adanya sistem patriarki di Indonesia di zaman yang sudah modern ini. Karena hal ini penulis ingin meneliti apakah sistem patriarki ini sangat berpengaruh di masyarakat apalagi setelah masa Kartini yang sudah berusaha keras untuk melawan patriarki. Hal ini tergambar dalam film Yuni yang dimana masih banyak patriarki di zaman modern ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa dalam patriarki di Indonesia pada zaman sekarang dan bagaimana semangat Kartini di zaman sekarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan analisis resepsi. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 10 orang yang merupakan mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Universitas Mercu Buana dari berbagai kampus. Para informan diteliti menggunakan analisis resepsi. Dan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian tentang semangat Kartini dalam emansipasi wanita, penyamarataan pendidikan, dan penyamarataan hak dan kebebasan antara wanita dan lakilaki.
