Abstract

The pedestrian bridge has a function as a crossing facility which should be very safe and comfortable for pedestrians considering the heavy traffic flow and high risk if you do not use the crossing facility. However, crossing facilities are less desirable for reasons including the condition of the pedestrian bridge that does not meet the standards, then in terms of safety and comfort of the bridge, and distance from the bridge. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of effectiveness of the pedestrian bridge on Jalan M.H. Thamrin Tangerang City, analyze the efficient crossing facilities on the road section, and identify the existing condition of the JPO. The research method used in this study is to make direct observations and surveys of the existing condition of JPO on Jalan M.H. Thamrin Tangerang City, calculate the volume of crossings, the flow of vehicles passing under JPO, and analyze the determination of crossing facilities using the PV2 formula. The results of this study show that the level of effectiveness at JPO Springwood Residence is quite effective with a percentage of 49.51%, then based on the analysis of the determination of crossing facilities that have been carried out get results with PV2 40x108 , therefore the right crossing facility is a pelican with a waiting stall, based on the feasibility analysis of observing the physical condition of the People Crossing Bridge (JPO) Springwood Residence states that 52% of the 5 (five) aspects of the feasibility physical test People crossing bridges have met the standards of Planning Procedures for Pedestrian Pedestrians in Urban Areas (1995). Keywords: Effectiveness of JPO, Volume of vehicles, MH Thamrin Tangerang City, Feasibility Rate of JPO, Planning Procedures for Pedestrian Bridges for Pedestrians in Urban Areas (1995) Jembatan penyeberangan memiliki fungsi sebagai fasilitas menyebrang yang seharusnya sangat aman dan nyaman untuk pejalan kaki mengingat arus lalu lintas yang cukup padat dan berisiko tinggi jika tidak menggunakan fasilitas penyeberangan. Namun fasilitas penyeberangan kurang diminati dengan alasan diantaranya kondisi jembatan penyeberangan yang tidak memenuhi standar, lalu dari segi keamanan serta kenyamanan dari jembatan tersebut, dan jarak dari jembatan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat efektivitas jembatan penyeberangan orangn di ruas Jalan M.H. Thamrin Kota Tangerang, menganalisis fasilitas penyeberangan yang efisien pada ruas jalan tersebut, serta mengidentifikasi kondisi eksisting JPO. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu melakukan pengamatan dan survei secara langsung terhadap kondisi eksisting JPO di Jalan M.H. Thamrin Kota Tangerang, menghitung volume penyeberang, arus kendaraan yang melintas dibawah JPO, dan dilakukan analisis penentuan fasilitas penyeberangan dengan menggunakan rumus PV2 . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tingkat efektivitas pada JPO Springwood Residence yaitu cukup efektif dengan persentase 49,51%, lalu berdasarkan analisis penentuan fasilitas penyeberangan yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil dengan PV2 40x108 , maka dari itu fasilitas penyeberangan yang tepat adalah pelican dengan lapak tunggu, berdasarkan analisis kelayakan pengamatan kondisi fisik Jembatan Penyeberangan Orang (JPO) Springwood Residence menyatakan bahwa 52% dari 5 (lima) aspek uji fisik kelayakan jembatan penyeberangan orang sudah memenuhi standar Tata Cara Perencanaan Jembatan Penyeberangan Untuk Pejalan Kaki di Perkotaan (1995).
