Abstract

Donuts are one of the foods that are popular among people, but there are times and technological developments as well as market competition that make MSMEs have to do branding for their businesses, where sellers must have a visual identity in order to be able to compete and be eyed by target consumers. Thus, the visual identity that is owned must match the needs, this will have an impact on the interest of the buyers. This also applies to the home industry culinary business, namely Ima Donat, which is engaged in the Dessert culinary business. The purpose of this design is to build a visual identity for UMKM Ima Donat, implement a visual identity, and design a visual identity for UMKM Ima Donat. Using the design thinking method The result of this design is the logo of UMKM Ima Donat, which consists of a logotype and symbol. In the UMKM Ima Donat logo, there are two versions of the logo, namely the main logo and the horizontal logo. The color concept is the color palette that will make buyers interested in the color concept because it seems more cheerful and can be easier to see. From this, it produces a brand guideline as well as supporting media in the form of packaging, business cards, stickers, stamps, notes, aprons, kiosks, banners, and x-banners. The final results of this work will be exhibited to test the design and attract exhibition visitors. to receive criticism and suggestions from visitors. Key Word: Visual identity, Branding, MSME. Donat merupakan salah satu makanan yang populer di kalangan masyarakat, adanya perkembangan zaman dan teknologi serta persaingan pasar yang membuat para UMKM harus melakukan branding terhadap usahanya, dimana penjual harus memiliki identitas visual agar mampu bersaing dan dilirik oleh target konsumen. Sehingga, identitas visual yang dimiliki harus sesuai dengan kebutuhan, hal ini yang akan berdampak pada minat para pembeli. Hal ini pun berlaku pada usaha kuliner industri rumahan yaitu Ima Donat yang bergerak dalam usaha kuliner Dessert. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah membangun identitas visual UMKM Ima Donat, mengimplementasikan identitas visual, dan perancangan identitas visual UMKM Ima Donat. Menggunakan metode perancangan design thinking. Hasil dari perancangan ini merupakan logo dari UMKM Ima Donat yang terdiri dari logotype dan simbol, pada logo UMKM Ima Donat terdapat dua versi logo yaitu logo utama dan horizontal logo.Warna yang dikonsepkan ialah dengan warna palet yang akan membuat para pembeli tertarik dengan konsep warna karena terkesan lebih ceria dan dapat lebih mudah untuk dilihat. Dari adanya hal ini menghasilkan sebuah brand guideline, serta media pendukung berupa packaging, kartu nama, stiker, stempel, nota, apron, kios, banner, dan x-banner. Hasil akhir karya ini akan dipamerkan untuk diuji desain dan menarik minat pengunjung pameran untuk mendapatkan kritik dan saran dari pengunjung. Kata Kunci: Identitas visual, Branding, UMKM.
