Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between alexithymia and prosocial behaviour in a transjakarta user. Respondents in this study amounted to 97 people. The instrument used the measuring instrument Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) with a total of 20 items (Bagby, Parker & Taylor, 1992), and Prosocial Tendencies Measurement (PTM) with a total of 22 items (Carlo & Randall, 2002). The sampling methods used in this study are sampling incidental. Data analysis using Spearman-Rank correlation technique. The results of this study showed that there was a negative and significant relationship between alexithymia and prosocial behavior (r =-0.401; p = 0.000). This means that the higher the alexithymia is owned by the individual, the lower the behavior of the prosocial. Keywords: alexithymia, prosocial behaviour, transjakarta users Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara alexithymia dengan perilaku prososial pada pengguna transjakarta. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak 97 orang. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) dengan total 20 item (Bagby, Parker & Taylor, 1992), dan Prosocial Tendencies Measurement (PTM) dengan total 22 item (Carlo & Randall, 2002). Metode sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampling incidental. Analisa data menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman-Rank. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara alexithymia dengan perilaku prososial (r = -0,401; p = 0,000 ). Artinya bahwa semakin tinggi alexithymia yang dimiliki oleh individu, maka akan semakin rendah perilaku prososialnya. Kata Kunci : alexithymia, perilaku prososial, pengguna transjakarta
