Abstract

Organizational Communication is a simple exchange of information between people in the organization through various stages, organizational communication becomes a bridge of information flow within an organization, when communication within the organization is not going well, then the flow of information between entities in the organization can't run smoothly. This study aims to describe the function of organizational communication in the Britzone English Community in achieving organizational goals. Researchers are interested in doing this research because they see obstacles in organizational communication in the Britzone English Community. The concept used in this research is the Organizational Communication Function which consists of informative, regulative and persuasive functions, making what it does is to provide the best things for its members to achieve organizational goals. This type of research is descriptive qualitative approach because it only discusses reveal a problem, situation, or an event as it is only reveal a fact and an objective picture of the actual state of the object under study. The research method that researchers use is a descriptive qualitative by conducting in-depth interviews (indepth interview) as a primary data collection technique. As a secondary data collection technique, researchers conduct library studies and data searches. The results of this study can be seen that the organizational communication function within the Britzone English Community environment consists of informative, regulative, persuasive functions such as meetings, pree initials, special event gatherings and internal media to be a material for evaluation, control, motivation, and periodic employee coaching in behave and behave. All functions of the organization's communication are going well enough. informal activities can create a high sense of kinship in the Britzone English Community organization such as special event gathering activities. Komunikasi Organisasi merupakan pertukaran informasi secara sederhana diantara orang-orang yang ada di dalam organisasi yang melalui berbagai tahapan, ketika komunikasi di dalam organisasi tidak berjalan dengan baik, maka arus informasi antar entitas di dalam organisasi tidak dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi komunikasi organisasi di Britzone English Community dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian ini karena melihat adanya hambatan dalam komunikasi organisasi di Britzone English Community. Konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Fungsi Komunikasi Organisasi yang terdiri dari fungsi informatif, regulatif dan persuasif, menjadikan apa yang dilakukannya adalah untuk memberikan hal yang terbaik bagi para anggotanya untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Tipe Penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif karena hanya membahas mengungkapkan suatu masalah, keadaan, atau suatu peristiwa sebagaimana adanya bersifat hanya mengungkapkan suatu fakta serta gambaran secara objektif mengenai keadaan sebenarnya dari objek yang diteliti. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam (Indepth Interview) sebagai teknik pengumpulan data primer. Sebagai teknik pengumpulan data sekunder, peneliti melakukan studi kepustakaan dan penelusuran data. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa fungsi komunikasi organisasi dalam lingkungan Britzone English Community terdiri dari fungsi informatif, regulatif,persuasif yang dilakukan seperti rapat, pree initial, special event gathering dan media internal yang berfungsi untuk mengontrol, memotivasi, serta pembinaan pegawai secara berkala dalam bersikap dan berperilaku. Semua fungsi komunikasi organisasi tersebut berjalan dengan cukup baik. aktivitas yang bersifat informal dapat menciptakan rasa kekeluargaan yang tinggi di organisasi Britzone English Community seperti kegiatan special event gathering.
