Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, dividend policy and profitability on firm value in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2020. Several previous studies on firm value showed different results. Therefore, other research needs to be done to retest the theory of firm value. The sampling method used was purposive sampling method, research data were obtained from annual financial reports listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, so that 10 sample companies were obtained for 6 years of observation with 60 observations (observations). This study uses statistical tools Eviews 11 to test the significance of the effect of capital structure, dividend policy and profitability on firm value. The results of this study indicate that capital structure and profitability have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, dividend policy has no significant negative effect on firm value. Keywords: Capital Structure, Dividend Policy, Profitability, Firm Value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh struktur modal, kebijakan dividen dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015 hingga 2020. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya mengenai nilai perusahaan memperlihatkan hasil yang berbeda – beda. Oleh karena itu, penelitan lain perlu dilakukan untuk menguji ulang teori tentang nilai perusahaan. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling, data penelitian diperoleh dari laporan keuangan tahunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, sehingga diperoleh 10 perusahaan sampel untuk 6 tahun pengamatan dengan 60 observasi (pengamatan). Penelitian ini menggunakan alat statistik Eviews 11 untuk menguji signifikansi pengaruh struktur modal, kebijakan dividen dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan kebijakan dividen berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci: Struktur Modal, Kebijakan Dividen, Profitabilitas, Nilai Perusahaan
