Abstract

Traffic conditions at the three-signal intersection at Jalan K.H Hasyim Ashari Intersection are characterized by high density, where the existing intersection capacity is not proportional to the volume of vehicles, resulting in congestion on the road. The purpose of this research is to analyze the existing traffic performance at the Intersection using VISSIM software. In addition, it provides solutions to improve the performance of the Intersection. The analysis method used is microsimulation using VISSIM software, by calibrating, validating the intersection model by trial and error, considering driver behavior, conducting the GEH test on vehicle volume, and the chi-square test on vehicle queue length. Based on the simulation results, it is known that the calibration parameters for each period are influenced by vehicle volume factors, peak and off-peak hours for each approach. The results of the analysis of existing conditions in the form of the largest queue length occurred on the approach from the Cikokol direction of 187.1 m and for the largest delay time the approach from the Banjar Wijaya direction was 147.8 seconds, for the approach from the Cikokol direction which was 154.3 seconds and for the approach from the Cipondoh direction of 53.1 seconds. Followed by alternative traffic at the intersection by changing the traffic phase, red all and green time, but not changing the cycle time. In changing the phase of the intersection, the approach from the Cikokol direction becomes the first phase, the Banjar Wijaya direction becomes the second phase and the Cipondoh direction becomes the third phase. The approach from the Cikokol direction was chosen to be the first phase because it has the largest vehicle flow. While the results of the two alternatives can reduce queue length, the second alternative time is better at improving the level of service of the intersection. Thus, the second alternative time was chosen as the intersection improvement solution. Keywords: Microsimulation, VISSIM, Intersection Performance, GEH Test, Chi-Square Test Kondisi lalu lintas pada simpang tiga bersinyal di Persimpangan Jalan K.H Hasyim Ashari diwarnai oleh kepadatan yang tinggi, dimana kapasitas simpang yang ada sudah tak sebanding dengan volume kendaraan, sehingga mengakibatkan kemacetan pada ruas jalan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kinerja lalu lintas eksisting pada Persimpangan menggunakan software VISSIM. Selain itu memberikan solusi perbaikan kinerja Persimpangan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah mikrosimulasi menggunakan software VISSIM, dengan melakukan kalibrasi, validasi model simpang secara trial dan error, mempertimbangkan perilaku pengemudi, melakukan uji GEH terhadap volume kendaraan, serta uji chi-square terhadap panjang antrian kendaraan. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi diketahui parameter kalibrasi tiap periode dipengaruhi oleh faktor volume kendaraan, jam puncak dan tidak puncak masing-masing pendekat. Hasil analisis kondisi eksisting berupa panjang antrian terbesar terjadi pada pendekat dari arah Cikokol sebesar 187,1 m dan untuk waktu tundaan paling besar pendekat dari arah Banjar Wijaya yaitu sebesar 147,8 detik, untuk pendekat dari arah Cikokol yaitu sebesar 154,3 detik dan untuk pendekat dari arah Cipondoh sebesar 53,1 detik. Dilanjutkan dengan alternatif lalu lintas pada simpang dengan merubah fase lalu lintas, waktu red all dan hijau, tetapi tidak mengubah waktu siklus. Pada perubahan fase persimpangan pendekat dari arah Cikokol menjadi fase pertama, arah Banjar Wijaya menjadi fase kedua dan arah Cipondoh menjadi fase ketiga. Pendekat dari arah Cikokol dpilih menjadi fase pertama karena memiliki arus kendaraan yang paling besar. Sedangkan hasil dari kedua alternatif dapat mengurangi panjang antrian, tetapi waktu alternatif kedua lebih baik dalam mengingkatkan tingkat pelayanan simpang. Sehingga, waktu alternatif kedua dipilih sebagai solusi perbaikan simpang. Kata Kunci : Mikrosimulasi, VISSIM, Kinerja Simpang, Uji GEH, Uji Chi-Square
