Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of parental support autonomy on career maturity in high school students in Tangerang City. Participants were 150 subjects. Obtained by simple random sampling technique. Career maturity using the Career Maturity Scale and measuring tools. Career maturity is the achievement of each individual in completing tasks at each stage of his development. Then analyzed using simple linear regression techniques. The results found an influence of 0.252 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05) which can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between autonomy parental support on career maturity. The conclusion that the influence of these two variables means that the greater the parents support the child's career, the higher the level of career maturity in children in determining career choices. Keywords : Parental Support Autonomy, Career Maturity Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari parental support autonomy terhadap kematangan karir pada siswa SMA di Kota Tangerang. Partisipan sebanyak 150 subjek. Diperoleh dengan teknik sampel simple random sampling. Kematangan karir menggunakan alat ukur Career Maturity Scale dan. Kematangan karir merupakan suatu pencapaian dari setiap individu dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas dalam setiap tahap perkembangan nya. Kemudian dianalisa menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil ditemukan adanya pengaruh sebesar 0,252 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05) yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara parental support autonomy terhadap kematangan karir. Kesimpulan adanya pengaruh dari kedua variabel tersebut mengartikan bahwa semakin besar orangtua mendukung terhadap karir anak maka semakin tinggi tingkat kematangan karir pada anak dalam menentukan pilihan karirnya.
