Abstract

Lapindo mud is the name for the hot mudflow tragedy that occurred in Porong, Sidoarjo. The location of Lapindo Mud is in Balongnongo Hamlet, Renokenongo Village and Jatirejo Village, Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. Data from the Sidoarjo Mud Management Agency (BPLS) states that the burst volume in 2016 reached 30,000–50,000 cubic meters per day. Since 2006 until now, the Lapindo mudflow has inundated 19 villages in Tanggulangin District, Jabon District and Porong District with an estimated area of 1,143.3 hectares affected. This incident caused more than 10,426 houses and 77 places of worship to be submerged in mud, and forced tens of thousands of people to flee. The method used in this research is an experimental trial and error method which begins with conducting a literature study, namely collecting, studying and comparing several literature sources such as national and international research journals, similar research manuscripts, and planning guides that refer to SNI 03-2834 -2000 concerning Procedures for Making Normal Concrete Mix Plans. In this research, the initial NACL content in Lapindo mud was 20% and after going through the NACL separation process, the NACL content in the mud was 10%. The separation of NACL in Lapindo mud is carried out by settling the Lapindo mud for 7 days, so that the NACL content in the Lapindo mud is reduced so that the strength and durability of the concrete is not reduced. In the Lapindo concrete mix design proportion of 5%, a cylindrical sample mold is used with a sample diameter of 10 cm and a sample height of 20 cm, a mold volume of 0.001570 m3, and a sample size of 3 pieces. This test required 0.812 liters of water, 4.270 kg of sand, 4.203 kg of coarse aggregate, 0.082 kg of Lapindo mud, and cement that had been reduced with Lapindo mud with a result of 1.552 kg. The Lapindo mud content used in making concrete is up to 20%, increasing the quality of the concrete, and the compressive strength of the concrete is high. Workability for concrete with Lapindo mud substitution is classified as good. During manufacture, fresh concrete mixture remains homogeneous and is easy to make and mold. The concrete will reach a good hardened condition. Keywords : Concrete, Lapindo Mud, Compressive Strength Lumpur Lapindo adalah sebutan bagi tragedi semburan lumpur panas yang terjadi di Porong, Sidoarjo. Lokasi Lumpur Lapindo berada di Dusun Balongnongo Desa Renokenongo dan Desa Jatirejo, Kecamatan Porong, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. Data Badan Penanggulangan Lumpur Sidoarjo (BPLS) menyatakan bahwa volume semburan pada tahun 2016 mencapai 30.000–50.000 meter kubik per hari. Sejak 2006 hingga kini, semburan Lumpur Lapindo telah menggenangi 19 desa di Kecamatan Tanggulangin, Kecamatan Jabon, dan Kecamatan Porong dengan luas area terdampak diperkirakan mencapai 1.143,3 hektare. Kejadian tersebut membuat lebih dari 10.426 unit rumah dan 77 rumah ibadah terendam lumpur, serta memaksa puluhan ribu jiwa mengungsi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan metode eksperimental trial and error yang dimulai dengan melakukan studi literatur yaitu mengumpulkan dan mempelajari serta melakukan komparasi beberapa sumber literatur seperti jurnal penelitian baik nasional maupun internasional, naskah penelitian sejenis, dan panduan perencanaan yang mengacu pada SNI 03-2834-2000 mengenai Tata Cara Pembuatan Rencana Campuran Beton Normal. Pada penelitian ini, kandungan NACL awal pada lumpur lapindo sebesar 20% dan setelah melalui proses pemisahan NACL, kandungan NACL pada lumpur sebesar 10%. Pemisahan NACL pada lumpur lapindo dilakukan dengan mengendapkan lumpur lapindo selama 7 hari, agar kandungan NACL yang terdapat di lumpur lapindo berkurang sehingga kekuatan dan keawetan beton tidak berkurang. Pada proporsi mix design beton lapindo 5%, digunakan cetakan sampel berbentuk silinder dengan diameter sample 10 cm dan tinggi sample 20 cm, volume cetakan 0,001570 m3, dan banyak sample 3 buah. Pada pengujian ini dibutuhkan air sebanyak 0,812 liter, pasir sebanyak 4,270 kg, agregat kasar sebanyak 4,203 kg, lumpur lapindo sebanyak 0,082 kg, dan semen yang telah dikurangi dengan lumpur lapindo dengan hasil sebanyak 1,552 kg. Kandungan lumpur lapindo yang digunakan dalam pembuatan beton hingga kadar 20% membuat mutu beton meningkat, dan kuat tekan pada beton tinggi. Workability untuk beton dengan substitusi lumpur lapindo tergolong kedalam kategori baik. Selama pembuatannya, adukan beton segar tetap bersifat homogen serta mudah untuk dibuat dan dicetak. Beton akan mencapai kondisi mengeras yang baik. Kata Kunci : Beton, Lumpur Lapindo, Kuat Tekan
