Abstract

An earthquake is a natural disaster that comes suddenly and in a relatively short time destroys everything on earth. The Palu Donggala earthquake on September 28, 2018 caused very high damage to infrastructure and facilities. The calculation of earthquake acceleration in this study is one-dimensional wave propagation using EERA and DEEPSOIL software. Important data in the analysis of one-dimensional wave propagation are historical data on the acceleration of the earthquake in Balaroa, Standard Penetration Test (SPT) data, unit weight data, and soil depth data. This research was conducted in the Petobo area. From the historical data, the acceleration of the earthquake was propagated to the Balaroa bedrock. The results of earthquake acceleration in Balaroa bedrock multiplied by attenuation in bedrock in each borehole and Petobo soil data are used as input to obtain earthquake acceleration on the Petobo surface using EERA and DEEPSOIL software. The result of this study is the acceleration of the earthquake on the surface of Petobo. The results of the analysis using the DEEPSOIL software show that the maximum earthquake acceleration is greater than the EERA software. So, for the design work of earthquake-resistant structures on the surface of Petobo, the maximum earthquake acceleration results from the DEEPSOIL software analysis is used. Keywords : Earthquake, Damage, Earthquake Acceleration, One Dimensional Wave Propagation, EERA, and DEEPSOIL Gempa bumi merupakan bencana alam yang datangnya secara tiba-tiba dan dalam waktu yang relatif singkat menghancurkan semua yang ada di muka bumi. Peristiwa gempa Palu Donggala 28 September 2018 menimbulkan kerusakan infrastruktur dan fasilitas yang sangat tinggi. Perhitungan percepatan gempa pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan perambatan gelombang satu dimensi menggunakan software EERA dan DEEPSOIL. Data penting dalam analisis perambatan gelombang satu dimensi adalah data riwayat waktu percepatan gempa di Balaroa, data Standard Penetration Test (SPT), data berat isi (unit weight), dan data kedalaman tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di daerah Petobo. Dari data riwayat waktu percepatan gempa tersebut dirambatkan sampai ke batuan dasar Balaroa. Hasil percepatan gempa di batuan dasar Balaroa dikali dengan atenuasi di batuan dasar pada masing-masing borehole dan data tanah Petobo dijadikan input untuk mendapatkan percepatan gempa di permukaan Petobo menggunakan software EERA dan DEEPSOIL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah percepatan gempa di permukaan Petobo. Hasil analisis menggunakan software DEEPSOIL menunjukkan percepatan gempa maksimum yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan software EERA. Maka, untuk pekerjaan desain struktur tahan gempa di permukaan Petobo digunakan percepatan gempa maksimum hasil analisis software DEEPSOIL.
