Abstract

This research aims to analyze and empirically prove the Effect of Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on Profitability in Sharia commercial banks of Indonesia during the period 2014-2018. The method used in this research is quantitative method of causality. The data used is sourced from secondary data. The population in this study is all Sharia commercial banks in Indonesia. Sampling techniques in this study used census samples. Based on the predetermined sampling method, the number of samples is12 samples of Sharia commercial banks in the period 2014-2018. Analyze and process data using Microsoft Excel and E-views 10. The results of research showed that: 1) BOPO has a negative and significant effect on profitability, 2) NPF has a negative and significant effect profitability, 3) CAR has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Keywords: Operating Expenses to Operating Income, Non-Performing Financing, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Profitability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membuktikan secara empiris Pengaruh Beban Operasional Terhadap Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), dan Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) terhadap Profitabilitas Pada Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif kausalitas. Data yang digunakan bersumber dari data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh bank umum syariah di Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sensus. Berdasarkan metode pengambilan sampel yang telah ditentukan, maka jumlah sampel sebayak 12 sampel bank umum syariah periode 2014-2018. Analisis dan pengolahan data menggunakan menggunakan microsoft excel dan eviews 10. Hasil pengujian penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) BOPO berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas, 2) NPF berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas, 3) CAR berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas. Kata kunci: Beban Operasional terhadap Pendapatan Operasional, Non- Performing Financing, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Profitabilitas.
