Abstract

Railways are an efficient and environmentally friendly public transportation solution that can be interpreted as a mode of transportation that has special characteristics and advantages, especially in transporting passengers and goods in bulk, saving energy, saving space, and having a high level of security and safety. low level of pollution, and more efficient than other modes of road transportation. Therefore, KAI is very concerned about the comfort and safety of the passengers. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the geometeric feasibility and free space of railroad tracks, because the geometric feasibility and free space of railroads are one of the main factors of safety and comfort for passengers. This research was conducted by surveying the width of the railroad track with a road plot km 4 + 800 S / D 5 + 500 between Sudirman - Manggarai. The methodology used is secondary data collection, problem identification, literature study, and data processing. The results showed that the horizontal curvature, rail elevation, rail widening, vertical curvature in accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 60 of 2012, Determination of the radius (R) greatly affects the geometric of the rail road. The fingers in the field have met the requirements, the difference in results between the radius (R) of the plan and the fingers in the field can still be tolerated. The calculation of Passing Tonage is found to be > 20.〖10〗^6, so in accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 60 of 2012. The results of the calculation of the operational speed of the train have met the requirements. The results of the analysis and processing of free space data on the Sudirman – Manggarai route do not meet the requirements of Permen No. 60 of 2012 and PD.10. The driver's visibility is still obstructed by buildings and people's clotheslines, the train journey is still disrupted by residents who often cross the railroad tracks out of place and without supervision, the train is being disturbed by garbage on the rail line, and the view is disturbed. the driver to see the line lights that are blocked by the residents' yards. Perkeretaapian merupakan solusi transportasi publik yang efisien dan ramah lingkungan yang dapat diartikan sebagai moda transportasi yang memiliki karakteristik dan keunggulan khusus terutama dalam mengangkut penumpang dengan baik dan barang secara massal, hemat energi, hemat dalam penggunaan ruang, serta mempunyai tingkat keamanan dan keselamatan yang tinggi, tingkat pencemaran yang rendah, serta lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan moda transportasi jalan raya yang lain. Maka dari itu pihak KAI sangat memperhatikan kenyamanan dan keamanan bagi para penumpang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kelayakan geomterik dan ruang bebas jalur rel kereta api, karena kelayakan geometrik dan ruang bebas jalur rel kereta api merupakan salah satu faktor utama dari keselamatan dan kenyamanan bagi para penumpang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara survey kelapangan jalur rel kereta api dengan Petak jalan km 4+800 S/D 5+500 Antara Sudirman – Manggarai. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data - data sekunder, identifikasi masalah, studi literatur, dan pengolahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lengkung Horizontal, Peninggian Rel, Pelebaran Sepur, Lengkung Vertikal sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri No.60 Tahun 2012, Penentuan Jari – jari ( R ) sangat berpengaruh terhadap geometric jalan rel, Hasil Analisis menggunakan jari -jari ( R ) Rencana maupun Jari – jari yang ada di lapangan sudah memenuhi syarat, selisih hasil antara jari- jari ( R ) rencana maupun jari – jari yang ada dilapangan masih bisa ditoleransi.
