Abstract

Park and ride facilities are parking facilities that support public transportation modes, and one of them is rail-based mass transportation mode, where parking facilities at the Mangu Gorge Station use the park and ride concept. To find out the implementation of the park and ride concept at the Mangu Gorge Station, this study aims to determine the characteristics and evaluate park and ride facilities. By surveying parked motorbikes and cars from 04.00 – 22.00, calculating the current and future parking needs. As well as evaluating the park and ride facilities at the Mangu Gorge Station. The characteristics of parking at the Mangu Gorge Station when the survey was conducted on Wednesday 02 June 2021, Thursday 03 June 2021, Saturday 05 June 2021 and Sunday 06 June 2021, still met the need for parking spaces at the time of the research. The estimated parking space requirement in the next 5 years or in 2026 is 589 SRP for motorcycle parking and 94 SRP for car parking. The parking facilities at the Mangu Abyss Station cannot accommodate at this time, because it has exceeded the motorcycle parking capacity of 503 SRP and car parking is 76 SRP. Parking facilities at the Mangu Gorge Station still need some improvements, including the addition of parking lots, pavement on the parking lot that is still not good and controlling illegal parking around the station. Keywords: Parking Characteristics, Parking Needs, Park and Ride, Jurang Mangu Station Fasilitas park and ride merupakan sarana parkir yang menunjang moda transportasi umum, dan salah satunya moda transportasi massal berbasis rel, dimana sarana parkir di Stasiun jurang mangu menggunakan konsep park and ride. Untuk mengetahui pengimplementasian konsep park and ride di Stasiun jurang mangu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan mengevaluasi fasilitas park and ride. Dengan mensurvey motor dan mobil yang parkir dari pukul 04.00 – 22.00, menghitung kebutuhan parkir saat ini dan masa yang akan datang. Serta mengevalui fasilitas park and ride di Stasiun jurang mangu. Karakteristik parkir di Stasiun jurang mangu pada saat di lakukan survei pada hari rabu 02 juni 2021, kamis 03 juni 2021, sabtu 05 juni 2021 dan minggu 06 juni 2021, masih memenuhi kebutuh ruang parkir pada saat penelitian. Perkiraan kebutuhan ruang parkir pada 5 tahun mendatang atau pada tahun 2026 sebesar 589 SRP untuk parkir sepeda motor dan untuk parkir mobil 94 SRP, Sudah tidak dapat tertampung oleh fasilitas parkir di Stasiun jurang mangu pada saat ini, karena sudah melebihi kapasitas parkir sepeda motor yaitu 503 SRP dan parkir mobil yaitu 76 SRP. Fasilitas parkir di Stasiun jurang mangu masih membutuhkan beberapa perbaikan, yaitu diantaranya penambahan lahan parkir, perkerasan pada lahan parkir yang masi kurang baik dan penertiban parkir ilegal yang berada di sekitar stasiun.
