Abstract

In the implementation of the floor slab structure work there are several methods used in the project. Among them are conventional and precast methods. Along with its development, precast methods are increasingly being used coMPared to conventional ones. The main underlying reason is the superiority of precast in terms of the speed of development and quality control. In this study, the two conventional methods and the precast half slab will be coMPared in terms of structural strength. The plate modeling along with the calculation of the internal forces on each plate will be assisted by the Safe 12 software program which will then be followed by a manual calculation of the structural strength between the two methods. However, in the precast half slab, there is a shear force due to the meeting of the old concrete and the new concrete as a topping, resulting in a stress in the form of friction shear (Vn) of 34200000 N, stress due to shear force (τD) is 3.2143 N/mm2, and stress due to normal force is 0.2944 N/mm2.. This study resulted in the value of the difference in structural strength in the form of flexural strength and displacement between the two methods. The nominal flexural strength of the plate precast half slab method can bear the load due to external forces of 10.19274 kNm while the conventional method is 10.0247 kNm. Precast half slab has a displacement of 0.14185 mm while the conventional plate is 0.09909 mm. This figure shows that the precast half slab has greater flexibility than conventional slabs with the same concrete quality and has the same structural characteristic behavior when applied to the construction of building floor slabs. In planning the floor slab structure in this study, the author uses the reference SNI 03-2487-2013 (procedures for calculating concrete structures for buildings). Keywords: conventional, precast, precast half slab, Safe 12 Dalam pelaksanaaan pekerjaan struktur pelat lantai ada beberapa metode yang dipakai dalam proyek. Diantaranya adalah metode konvensional dan precast. Seiring perkembangannya, metode pracetak semakin banyak digunakan dibanding konvensional. Alasan utama yang mendasari adalah keunggulan pracetak dari segi tingkat kecepatan pembangunan dan kontrol kualitas. Dalam penelitian ini, dua metode konvensional dan precast half slab tersebut akan dibandingkan dari segi kekuatan strukturnya. Permodelan pelat beserta perhitungan gaya dalam pada setiap pelat akan dibantu dengan program software Safe 12 yang selanjutnya akan dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan manual kekuatan struktur antara kedua metode.
