Abstract

Surakarta has several locations prone to traffic jams due to a level crossing between the highway and the railway, one of which is in front of Purwosari Station. This study was conducted to determine changes in traffic flow with the existence of the Purwosari fly over on the Slamet Riyadi road. The method used is to compare primary and secondary data that have been analyzed so as to get the results of segment performance before and after the Purwosari flyover with reference to the 1997 MKJI, primary data obtained directly from the survey while secondary data is data obtained from previous research, in this case the data secondary data obtained from research by Arif Nur Hidayat in 2018. The results showed that the highest traffic volume occurred during the peak hours of Monday morning. Road capacity has decreased compared to before the Purwosari flyover change. The performance condition of the road segment in DR. Wahidin, Moewardi, and Slamet Riyadi, precisely in front of Purwosasri Station, has also improved compared to before the construction of the Puwosari flyover. Purwosari there are segments whose DS values exceed 0.6 LOS D and E. Keywords: fly over, traffic characteristics, road performance, LOS, MKJI 1997 Surakarta memiliki beberapa lokasi rawan kemacetan akibat adanya perlintasan sebidang antara jalan raya dengan jalan kereta api, salah satunya di depan Stasiun Purwosari. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perubahan arus lalu lintas dengan adanya fly over Purwosari pada ruas jalan Slamet Riyadi. Metode yang digunakan yakni dengan membandingkan data primer dan sekunder yang telah dianalisis sehingga mendapat hasil kinerja ruas sebelum dan sesudah adanya flyover Purwosari dengan acuan MKJI 1997, data primer diperoleh langsung dari survey sedangkan data sekunder adalah data yang diperoleh dari penelitian sebelumnya, dalam kasus ini data sekunder diperoleh dari penelitian Arif Nur Hidayat tahun 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan volume lalu lintas tertinggi terjadi pada jam puncak Senin pagi. Kapasitas jalan mengalami penurunan dibandingkan sebelum perubahan flyover Purwosari. Kondisi kinerja ruas jalan di Jalan DR. Wahidin, Moewardi, dan Slamet Riyadi tepatnya di depan Stasiun Purwosasri juga mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan sebelum dibangunnya flyover Puwosari, Kondisi ini diketahui dari nilai DS yang mayoritas kurang dari 0,6 dan dengan tingkat pelayanan (LOS) A di seluruh ruasnya, dibanding sebelum adanya flyover Purwosari terdapat ruas yang nilai DS melebihi 0,6 LOS D dan E.
