Abstract

One of the markets in Central Jakarta is the Palmerah Market. This market has a fairly large level of activity so that it affects the performance of the road in front of it at certain hours, besides that this route is also traversed by public transportation modes with two different routes, namely Tanah Abang - Kebayoran Lama, Tanah Abang - Meruya. and Tanah Abang – Pengumben Post, making this route even more congested during peak hours. The width of the road confiscated by market activities will certainly reduce the ability of the road to accommodate the flow of passing vehicles, or in other words, a decrease in the capacity of the road segment. Based on the results of the analysis, it is found that the Traffic Impact caused by the activities of the Palmerah market occurs in the morning because traders use the road to sell so that it affects the service level of the West Palmerah road, especially on the route to Kebayoran Lama and the behavior of City Transportation drivers who stop waiting for passengers is increasingly making traffic jams. , while for the opposite route to Tanah Abang, market activity in the morning is not too significant so that the West Palmerah road to Tanah Abang has a better service level than the road to Kebayoran Lama. For the afternoon and evening The impact of market activities on traffic is not too influential because the activities of traders do not trade on the side of the West Palmerah road. This research is expected to be a reference or even a consideration for the West Jakarta city government to take a policy so that the traffic impact caused by market activities does not affect traffic flow too much. Pasar ini memiliki tingkat aktivitas yang cukup besar sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja ruas jalan yang berada di depannya pada jam-jam tertentu, selain itu jalur ini juga dilalui moda transportasi angkutan umum dengan dua rute yang berbeda yaitu Tanah Abang – Kebayoran Lama ,Tanah Abang – Meruya dan Tanah Abang – Pos Pengumben, sehingga menjadikan jalur ini semakin padat pada saat jam sibuk. Lebar jalan yang tersita oleh aktivitas pasar tentu mengurangi kemampuan jalan tersebut dalam menampung arus kendaraan yang lewat, atau dengan kata lain terjadi penurunan kapasitas ruas jalan Berdasrkan hasil Analisis di dapat Dampak Lalu Lintas yang ditimbulkan akibat aktifitas pasar palmerah terjadi pada pagi hari dikarenakan pedagang menggunakan badan jalan untuk berjualan sehingga memperngaruhi tingkat pelayanan jalan palmerah barat terutama pada jalur menuju Kebayoran Lama serta perilaku supir Angkutan Kota yang berhenti menunggu penumpang semakin membuat kemcaetan, sedangkan untuk jalur sebaliknya menuju Tanah Abang aktifitas pasar pada pagi hari tidak terlalu signifikan sehingga ruas jalan Palmerah Barat menuju Tanah Abang lebih baik tingkat pelayanannya dibanding Ruas jalan menuju Kebayoran Lama. Untuk siang dan sore hari Dampak aktifitas pasar terhadap lalu lintas tidak terlalu berpengaruh dikarenakan aktifitas pedagang tidak berdagang di sisi jalan Palmerah Barat. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi refrensi atau bahkan pertimbangan pemerintah kota Jakarta Barat mengambil sebuah kebijakan agar dampak lalu lintas yang ditimbulkan akibat adanya aktifitas pasar tidak terlalu berpengaruh terhadap arus lalu lintas.
