Abstract

The rapid population growth directly increases the number of residential buildings. This resulted in reduced rain catchment areas (areas capable of soaking up rainwater). Critical land that is expanding resulting in surface runoff in the rainy season due to rainwater can not seep into the soil. Flooding is the annual enemy of residents in the housing of Jl. H. A Wahid, Kec. Pasar Minggu. The condition of the drainage channel is getting shallower, causing rainwater that falls from roofs, trees, and roads cannot find a way to flow and in the end the rainwater which also cannot seep into the ground and cannot flow causes flooding. Infiltration wells can be used as an alternative method to reduce surface runoff and help replenish groundwater for water reserves (aquifers) in this Residential area. Existing drainage channels at the study site could not accommodate the discharge of rain on the 2-year anniversary. The channel can only accommodate as much as 116.38 m3 of rainwater, while the volume of surface runoff that occurs reaches 291.94 m3 . From the results of calculations and analysis that has been done, the residential area of Jl. H. A Wahid, Kec. Pasar Minggu requires 37 points of catchment well location. With a cross-section of circles diameter 1 meter and a depth of 3 meters. The location of the infiltration well is spread according to the area that is still empty, for example in the yard of the house, vacant land (field), and even in the street area. Keywords: Rain catchment area, infiltration wells, surface runoff discharge Pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin pesat secara langsung menambah jumlah bangunan hunian. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan berkurangnya daerah tangkapan hujan (daerah yang mampu meresapkan air hujan). Lahan kritis yang semakin meluas mengakibatkan limpasan permukaan pada musim penghujan akibat air hujan tidak dapat meresap kedalam tanah. Banjir merupakan musuh tahunan warga di perumahan Jl. H. A Wahid, Kec. Pasar Minggu. Kondisi saluran drainase yang semakin mendangkal, menyebabkan air hujan yang jatuh dari atap, pohon, dan jalan tidak dapat menemukan jalan untuk mengalir dan pada akhirnya air hujan yang juga tidak dapat meresap ke tanah dan tidak dapat mengalir tersebut menyebabkan banjir. Sumur resapan dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu metode alternatif untuk mengurangi limpasan permukaan dan membantu mengisi air tanah untuk cadangan air (akuifer) di kawasan Perumahan ini. Saluran drainase eksisting pada lokasi studi tidak dapat menampung debit hujan kala ulang 2 tahunan. Saluran hanya mampu menampung sebanyak 116.38 m3 air hujan, sedangkan volume limpasan permukaan yang terjadi mencapai 291.94 m3 . Dari hasil perhitungan dan analisa yang telah dilakukan, Area perumahan Jl. H. A Wahid, Kec. Pasar Minggu memerlukan 37 titik lokasi sumur resapan. Dengan penampang lingkaran diameter 1 meter dan kedalaman 3 meter. Lokasi sumur resapan disebar sesuai area yang masih kosong, misalkan di pekarangan rumah, lahan kosong (lapangan), dan bahkan di area jalan.
