Abstract
The design of this social campaign on the prevention of body shaming against men aims to provide space for men to find comfort within themselves from the negative views around them and to provide awareness for perpetrators of body shaming to be more careful in commenting on men's physique. The selection of the topic regarding body shaming against men in this design was chosen because of the many trivial assumptions regarding cases of body shaming against men because of the stereotypes that develop in society regarding the culture of masculinity. The media used in designing this social campaign is in the form of 2D animation of the type short movie with a story concept that tells from the point of view of the victim so that it is hoped that the audience can feel what the victim feels so as to prevent acts of body shaming against men. Perancangan kampanye sosial tentang pencegahan body shaming terhadap laki-laki ini bertujuan untuk memberi ruang bagi laki-laki untuk menemukan kenyamanan dalam dirinya dari pandangan negatif disekitar mereka serta memberikan kesadaran bagi para pelaku Body Shaming untuk lebih berhati-hati dalam berkomentar mengenai fisik laki-laki. Pemilihan topik mengenai body shaming terhadap laki laki pada perancangan ini dipilih karena banyaknya anggapan sepele mengenai kasus Body Shaming terhadap laki-laki karena stereotip yang berkembang di masyarakat berkenaan dengan budaya maskulinitas. Media yang digunakan dalam perancangan kampanye sosial ini berupa animasi 2D berjenis short movie dengan konsep cerita yang menceritakan berdasarkan sudut pandang sang korban sehingga diharapkan audiens dapat merasakan apa yang korban rasakan sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya tindak body shaming terhadap laki-laki.
