Abstract

Video klip musik sangat dibutuhkan untuk promosi suatu penyanyi serta memberikan visual terhadap masyarakat agar memberikan suatu pesan penting di dalam sebuah lagu tersebut. Video klip pun membutuhkan sentuhan visual yang mendukung pendengar agar dapat menikmati lagu dengan tampilan aluralur yang menarik. Video klip musik “Terindah” ini dirancang untuk mendukung makna dari sebuah lagu tersebut yang bercerita tentang sepasang kekasih dengan memiliki tema Broken Home yang dapat mendukung penyampaian sebuah makna dari lagu tersebut. Fenomena Broken Home memiliki daya tarik untuk memberikan sebuah gambaran terhadap anak yang menjadi korban Broken Home. Perancangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk pengumpulan dan pengamatan data yang telah dilakukan pada riset sebelumnya demi keperluan perancangan video klip ini. Hasil dari perancangan video klip sebagai media utama karena dengan membuat video klip dapat memudahkan dalam memasarkan dan mempromosikan band Sawpeas yang berjudul “Terindah” agar dapat dinikmati oleh masyarakat. Perancangan ini mendapatkan respon yang sangat positif setelah melalui proses uji karya. Kata Kunci: Video Klip Band, Video Klip Sawpeas, Video Klip Broken Home, Sinematografi, Musik video Music video clips are needed for the promotion of a singer and provide visuals to the community in order to give an important message in a song. Video clips also require a visual touch that supports the listener in order to enjoy the song with an interesting flow display. Music video “Terindah” is designed to support the meaning of a song that tells the story of a couple with a Broken Home theme that can support the delivery of a meaning of the song. The Broken Home phenomenon has the appeal to provide an image of children who are victims of Broken Home. This design uses qualitative methods for the collection and observation of data that have been done in previous research for the purposes of designing this video clip. The result of the design of video clips as the main medium because by making video clips can facilitate in marketing and promoting the band Sawpeas entitled "Terindah" so that it can be enjoyed by the public.
