Abstract

Maintenance on the transformer is something that must be done to ensure that the transformer is ready to be loaded, this is because the role of the transformer is very vital for the electric power distribution system. One of the important parts in the transformer is the insulating oil, this transformer oil is useful as an insulating medium, the transformer oil also functions as a cooling medium for the transformer. The action taken in the maintenance of this transformer is to test the gas content of the transformer insulating oil. One of the tests in transformer maintenance is the DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) test. This DGA test is used to determine whether the condition of the transformer is normal or not by analyzing the content of dissolved gases in the transformer. There are six methods of analyzing DGA testing, namely TDCG, Key Gas, Roger Ratio, Doernenburg Ratio, Duval Triange and CO2/CO Ratio. In writing this final project, the author will only use four methods of analysis, namely TDCG, Key Gas, Roger's Ratio, and Duval Triange. Based on the results of DGA testing with these methods, the condition of PT. Krakatau Osaka Steel's 20/6 kV Transformer is in condition 2 and indicates that there has been Overheating Of Cellulose, Overheating < 150 degrees and Thermal Fault. This indicates that the concentration of combustible gas has exceeded the normal limit. It is recommended to purify the transformer oil, monitor the trend rate of the transformer oil insulating oil once every 3 months and monitor the loading of the transformer. Transformer 20/6 kV Pt. Krakatau Steel system can still operate but must carry out monitoring according to the recommendations above. Keywords : DGA, TDCG, Roger’s Ratio, Key Gas, Duval’s Triangle Pemeliharaan pada transfomator merupakan hal yang wajib dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa transfomator siap untuk dibebani hal ini dikarenakan peran transfomator yang sangat vital bagi system penyaluran tenaga listrik. Salah satu bagian penting dalam transfomator adalah minyak isolasi, minyak trafo ini berguna sebagai media isolasi, minyak transfomator juga berfungsi sebagai media pendingin transfomator. Tindakan yang dilakukan dalam pemeliharaan transfomator ini adalah melakukan uji kandungan gas pada minyak isolasi transfomator. Salah satu pengujian dalam pemeliharaan transfomator adalah pengujian DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis). Pengujian DGA ini digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi transfomator apakah kondisi normal atau tidak dengan menganalisa kandungan gas-gas terlarut dalam transfomator. Terdapat enam metode vinalisa pengujian DGA, yaitu TDCG, Key Gas, Ratio Roger,s, Ratio Doernenburg, Duval Triange dan Ratio CO2/CO. Pada penulisan Tugas Akhir ini, penulis hanya akan menggunakan empat metode Analisa, yaitu TDCG, Key Gas, Ratio Roger’s, dan Duval Triange. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian DGA dengan metode-metode tersebut, kondisi Transfomator 20/6 kV PT.Krakatau Osaka Stell berada di kondisi 2 serta mengindikasikan telah terjadi Overheating Of Cellulose, Overheating < 150 derajat serta Thermal Fault. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa konsentrasi gas yang mudah terbakar sudah melibihi batas normal. Direkomendasikan untuk melakukan purifikasi minyak transfomator, melakukan monitoring terhadap laju tren gas minyak isolasi transfomator selama 3 bulan sekali serta melakukan monitoring pembebanan dari transfomator tersebut. Transfomator 20/6 kV Pt. Krakatau Stell secara system masih bisa beroperasi tetapi harus melakukan monitoring sesuai rekomendasi diatas.
