Abstract

Books are a source of various information that opens up insights about the City of South Tangerang. This city is located in Banten Province, Indonesia, and has a rich and varied historical heritage, several aspects of which include the history of South Tangerang City, geographical location, transportation facilities, historical events, and past infrastructure. This is what made the author design a sketch illustration book for the City of South Tangerang to describe the journey of the city of South Tangerang through an informative collection of sketch illustrations. Through the media of sketch illustrations the atmosphere depicted is more natural and spontaneous. This book also invites you to visit the location in person so you can explore every detail of the location and feel the atmosphere firsthand. Apart from that, this book can be used as a journal to tell about your footprints in the city of South Tangerang by writing, even filling them with pictures or pasting photos. With a combination of informative text and sketch illustrations, this book is an informative source of knowledge for anyone with an interest in understanding the history of South Tangerang City. This book can be enjoyed by the younger generation, students, sketchers, or anyone who wants to explore the history of this city through an interesting and easily informative visual view. Keywords: Illustration book, Illustration, Sketch, South Tangerang Buku merupakan sumber dari berbagai informasi yang membuka wawasan tentang Kota Tangerang Selatan. Kota ini terletak di Provinsi Banten, Indonesia, memiliki warisan sejarah yang kaya dan beragam, beberapa aspek diantaranya sejarah Kota Tangerang Selatan, letak geografis, sarana transportasi, peristiwa bersejarah dan infratruktur masa lampau. Hal inilah yang membuat penulis merancang buku ilustrasi sketsa Kota Tangerang Selatan untuk menggambarkan perjalanan kota Tangerang Selatan melalui kumpulan ilustrasi sketsa yang informatif. Melalui media ilustrasi sketsa agar suasana yang digambarkan lebih natural dan spontan. Buku ini juga mengajak kamu untuk mengunjungi lokasi secara langsung agar bisa menjelajahi setiap detail lokasi dan merasakan suasana secara langsung. Selain itu, Buku ini bisa menjadi jurnal untuk menceritakan tapak jejak kamu di Kota Tangerang Selatan dengan menulis, bahkan mengisinya dengan gambar atau menempelkan foto. Dengan kombinasi antara teks yang informatif dan ilustrasi sketsa, buku ini merupakan sumber pengetahuan yang informatif bagi siapa saja yang memiliki ketertarikan memahami sejarah Kota Tangerang Selatan. Buku ini dapat dinikmati oleh generasi muda, pelajar, sketcher atau siapa pun yang ingin menjelajahi sejarah kota ini melalui pandangan visual yang menarik dan mudah informatif.
