Abstract

Usability is the level of quality assessment of a product whether it is suitable for use or must be repaired. The purpose of the research was to determine the level of satisfaction of users of the Mercu Buana University Jakarta library website while using the website. The Library of Mercu Buana University Jakarta has a website that students can access to find the information they need. Until now the website is rarely used and there are still usability problems found on the website. Evaluation of usability on a website is very important to do, so that users of the website can be comfortable when using the website and the results of the evaluation can be used as a basis for further development. The method used is a quantitative method and uses a questionnaire based on the System Usability Scale. The distribution of the questionnaire will use social media in the form of a google form. The research data that has been collected produces a user satisfaction level on the website of 71.56 according to SUS calculations with the conclusion that the website can be used by users with a few obstacles at points that must be repaired immediately. Recommendations for improvements are given based on input from each respondent who has used the website. Keywords: Library website; Usability evaluation; User Experience; System usability scale; Usability merupakan tingkat penilaian kualitas dari sebuah produk apakah layak digunakan atau harus di perbaiki. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pengguna website perpustakaan Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta selama menggunakan website tersebut. Perpustakaan Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta mempunyai situs website yang dapat diakses oleh mahasiswa untuk mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan. Hingga saat ini website tersebut jarang digunakan dan masih terdapat permasalahan usability yang terdapat pada website Evaluasi ketergunaan pada sebuah website sangat penting untuk dilakukan, agar pengguna dari website dapat nyaman saat menggunakan website tersebut dan hasil evaluasi dapat dijadikan dasar untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan kuesioner berdasarkan System Usability Scale. Penyebaran kuesioner akan menggunakan media sosial dalam bentuk google form. Data penelitian yang telah terkumpul menghasilkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna pada website tersebut sebesar 71,56 menurut perhitungan SUS dengan kesimpulan website tersebut bisa digunakan oleh pengguna dengan sedikit hambatan pada poin yang nantinya harus segera diperbaiki. Rekomendasi perbaikan diberikan berdasarkan masukan dari setiap responden yang telah menggunakan website tersebut.
