Abstract
In 2021, WHO reported that 1 in 3 women had experienced violence by their partners. However, a considerable number of these women did not report such incidents. This research aims to assess the help-seeking behavior and its relationship with trust among female experienced woman of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). The study involved 111 women who had experienced IPV. Help seeking behavior was measured using the Help Seeking Scale developed by Pajares et al. (2004), while trust was assessed using the Trust Action Questionnaire by Johnson & Johnson (2014). The results indicated a significant relationship between the variables, with the highest correlation coefficient found in the dimensions of Acceptance and Perceived Benefit of Help Seeking, which scored 0.59. These findings suggest that IPV incidents can influence an individual's level of trust. This study employed a quantitative correlational research design. Among the respondents, 30 had poor and very poor Help Seeking Behavior scores, and 39 had poor and very poor scores in trust. Keywords : IPV, trust, Help Seeking Behaviour Pada tahun 2021 WHO 1 dari 3 wanita pernah mengalami kekerasan oleh pasangan. Sebagian dari Wanita tersebut tidak melaporkan tindak kekerasan tersebut.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai perilaku pencarian bantuan (Help Seeking Behaviour) dan hubungannya dengan kepercayaan pada wanita yang mengalami IPV (Intimate Partner Violance). Subjek penelitian ini adalah Wanita yang pernah mengalami IPV sejumlah 111 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk variabel help seeking behavior diukur menggunakan alat ukur help seeking scale oleh Pajares et al., (2004) dan variabel trust menggunakan kuesioner trust action questionnaire dari Johnson & Johnson, (2014). Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu terdapat aspek yang memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan hasil koofisien korelasi tertinggi terdapat pada dimensi Acceptence dan Percecived Benefit of Hel Seeking yaitu 0,59. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa kejadian IPV mempengaruhi nilai Trust seorang individu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya yaitu korelasional. 30 orang responden memilki HSB yang buruk dan sangat buruk serta 39 responden memiliki score trust yang buruk dan sangat buruk.
