Abstract
This study aims to find out deeply about the description of resilience in polygamous early adult first wife. There were five participants involved in this study. To obtain information and to find out the meaning of participants’ experience, this study used a case study approach. To collect the data, this study used observation and interview method to the subjects and significant other of the subjects. To test the validity of the research data, the researcher triangulated the source and methodology, and dependability or reliability. The data that had been collected were analyzed by coding the results of interviews related to the research theme, conducting intra-case inter-case analysis. The results of this study indicate that early adulthood first wives are able to resillience in their respective ways. Keywords: Polygamy, Resilience, Early Adult. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam mengenai gambaran resiliensi pada istri pertama dewasa awal yang dipoligami. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini berjumlah lima orang, untuk mendapatkan informasi dan mengetahui makna subjek penelitian terkait tema penelitian, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara subjek penelitian dan significant other. Untuk menguji keabsahan data penelitian, peneliti melakukan triangulasi sumber dan metodologi, serta dependability atau reliabilitas. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan membuat kode hasil wawancara yang terkait dengan tema penelitian, melakukan analisis intrakasus dan antar kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa istri pertama usia dewasa awal mampu beresiliensi dengan cara masing-masing. kata kunci:Poligami, Resiliensi, Dewasa Awal.
