Abstract

The increase in vehicle and road users in Indonesia has caused a lot of damage to the surface of the road pavement. Damage occurs due to dense traffic capacity and the capacity of heavy vehicles that often pass. This causes the demand for basic materials to make asphalt in Indonesia to increase every year, so CPHMA (Cold Paving Hot Mix Asbuton) asphalt is used. CPHMA is buton asphalt has one of the new technologies. This type of asbuton consists of several materials, namely fine and coarse aggregates, asbuton granules, rejuvenile and filler mixed with hot and cold. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of CPHMA asphalt against the addition of waste tire rubber fillers with immersion variations. The method used is to conduct Marshall testing in the laboratory of Mercu Buana University, Jakarta. This test uses additional waste tire rubber filler with variations in levels of 2%, 4.5%, 6.5%, 8.5%, and 10%, additional asphalt pen 60/70 levels of 2%, 3.5%, 4.5%, 6.63%, and 8%. This test was carried out by making 42 samples, of which 2 pieces were for each variation in waste tire content and the addition of 60/70 asphalt pen content, as well as 4 samples for variations in original asphalt immersion and 4 samples for immersion variations with a mixture of waste tire rubber and asphalt pen 60/70. The results of this test obtained the marshall characteristic value that meets the 2018 Highways specifications with a min stability value of 500 Kg, VIM value of (4-10)%, VMA value min 16%, VFA value min 60% in the variation of soaking for 24 hours with soaking times for 24 hours, 3 days, and 5 days with a KAO value of 6% and filler content of 3%. Peningkatan pengguna kendaraan dan jalan di Indonesia menyebabkan banyaknya kerusakan – kerusakan pada permukaan perkerasan jalan Kerusakan yang terjadi karena padatnya kapasitas lalu lintas dan kapasitas kendaraan berat yang sering melintas. Hal ini menyebabkan permintaan bahan dasar untuk membuat aspal di Indonesia meningkat setiap tahunnya, Maka digunakan aspal CPHMA ( Cold Paving Hot Mix Asbuton). CPHMA merupakan aspal buton memiliki salah satu teknologi yang baru. Asbuton jenis ini terdiri dari beberapa bahan yaitu agregat halus dan kasar , butiran asbuton , rejuvenile ( peremaja) dan filler (bahan tambah ) yang dicampur panas hampar dingin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari aspal CPHMA terhadap penambahan filler limbah karet ban bekas dengan variasi perendaman.Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan pengujian Marshall di laboratorium Universitas Mercu Buana , Jakarta.Pada pengujian ini menggunakan tambahan filler limbah karet ban bekas dengan variasi kadar 2%,4,5%,6,5%,8,5%,dan 10 %, tambahan kadar aspal pen 60/70 yaitu 2%,3,5%,4,5% ,6,63% dan 8%.Pengujian ini dilakukan dengan membuat sampel sebanyak 42 buah dimana 2 buah untuk setiap variasi kadar limbah ban karet bekas dan penambahan kadar aspal pen 60/70, serta 4 buah sampel untuk variasi perendaman aspal original dan 4 buah sampel untuk variasi perendaman dengan campuran limbah karet ban bekas dan aspal pen 60/70 .Hasil Pengujian ini didapat nilai karakteristik marshall yang memenuhi spesifikasi Bina Marga 2018 dengan nilai stabilitas min 500 Kg, nilai VIM sebesar (4-10)% , nilai VMA min ≥ 16% , nilai VFA min ≥ 60 % adalah pada variasi perendaman selama 24 jam dengan waktu perendaman selama 24 jam, 3 hari , dan 5 hari dengan nilai KAO sebesar 6% dan kadar filler sebesar 3%.
