Abstract

Efficiency is an activity that is assessed based on the cost or resources used to achieve a certain level of yield, efficiency is related to the use of resources used in the household sector, one of which is a gas stove, the flow of fire that occurs in the combustion process resulting from burner resulting in unstable flame and fuel consumption. Surrounding heat radiation due to the distance between the burner and the load, there is still a need for minimal effort by using a reflector as a component that is used to collect heat radiation to the load above it. with the shape of the burner that adapts to the existing burner holder and the reflector which is designed in the form of a partition and is connected to a stainless steel plate to facilitate its users. The design method to solve the above problems is to formulate problems, study similar products, data analysis, design concepts and production. Improved flow of fire and heat radiation through burners and reflectors is the answer to the needs of householders in using a gas stove. With this modification it is hoped that the efficiency of the cooking process on a gas stove can be increased. Keywords : Repair of fire flow, heat radiation, burner, and reflector, gas stove. Efisiensi adalah kegiatan yang dinilai berdasarkan biaya atau sumber daya yang digunakan untuk mencapai suatu tingkat hasil tertentu, efisiensi berhubungan dengan penggunaan sumber daya yang digunakan pada sektor rumah tangga salah satunya kompor gas, aliran api yang terjadi pada proses pembakaran yang dihasilkan dari burner menghasilkan nyala yang tidak stabil dan konsumsi bahan bakar. Radiasi panas disekeliling karena adanya jarak burner dan beban masih perlu adanya upaya seminimal mungkin dengan menggunakan reflektor sebagai komponen yang dimanfaatkan untuk mengumpulkan radiasi panas menuju beban diatasnya. dengan bentuk burner yang menyesuaikan dudukan burner yang ada serta reflektor yang dirancang dalam bentuk partisi dan dihubungkan dengan lempengan stainless steel dapat memudahkan penggunanya. Metode perancangan untuk menyelesaikan masalah diatas adalah merumuskan masalah, studi produk sejenis, analisa data, konsep perancangan dan produksi. Perbaikan aliran api dan radiasi panas melalui burner dan reflektor adalah jawaban dari kebutuhan ibu ruah tangga dalam menggunakan kompor gas. Dengan modifikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkat efisiensi proses memasak pada kompor gas. Kata Kunci : Perbaikan aliran api, radiasi panas, burner, dan reflektor, kompor gas.
