Abstract
The objective of this study is to tackle issues pertaining to urban environmental challenges associated with the impacts of climate change, particularly concerning waterlogging and road infrastructure damage due to heavy rainfall. In this context, the study focuses on developing the concept of the "Adjustable Modular Barrier," designed to function as a tool for anticipating waterlogging and protecting damaged roads during rainy conditions. The research methodology employed encompasses conceptual design and technical testing of the "Adjustable Modular Barrier." This concept enables its application to address issues related to waterlogging and road damage, with the ability to be adjusted according to varying environmental conditions. The advantage of modularity also facilitates transportation, installation, and adaptation. The research findings indicate that the "Adjustable Modular Barrier" holds significant potential in addressing challenges of waterlogging and road damage caused by heavy rainfall. With its adaptability, this concept can be implemented across diverse situations. The implications involve enhancing the resilience of urban infrastructure and safeguarding daily mobility and safety for residents. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi tantangan lingkungan perkotaan yang terkait dengan dampak perubahan iklim, terutama dalam hal genangan air dan kerusakan infrastruktur jalan akibat hujan yang deras. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian berfokus pada pengembangan konsep "Adjustable Modular Barrier" yang dirancang untuk berfungsi sebagai alat antisipasi genangan air dan perlindungan terhadap jalan yang rusak dalam kondisi hujan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup perancangan konseptual dan uji teknis dari "Adjustable Modular Barrier". Konsep ini memungkinkan penggunaannya untuk mengatasi masalah genangan air dan kerusakan jalan, dengan kemampuan untuk diatur sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan yang berbeda. Keunggulan modularitasnya juga mempermudah transportasi, pemasangan, dan adaptasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa "Adjustable Modular Barrier" memiliki potensi besar dalam mengatasi masalah genangan air dan kerusakan jalan akibat hujan. Dengan adaptabilitasnya, konsep ini dapat diterapkan dalam berbagai situasi. Implikasinya adalah peningkatan ketahanan infrastruktur perkotaan dan perlindungan terhadap mobilitas harian warga serta keselamatan mereka.Kata kunci: adjustable modular barrier, luapan air, kerusakan jalan, pengaturan lalu lintas, adaptif, infrastruktur perkotaan.
