Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of the board of directors, institutional ownership, leverage, and intellectual capital on financial performance. The population in this study is the property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. This research was conducted using a sample of 29 selected companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling method and the analytical method used in this study is multiple linier regression processed using SPSS Version 20. The results of this study indicate that leverage has no significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, the board of directors, institutional ownership, and intellectual capital has a significant positive effect on financial performance in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dewan direksi, kepemilikan institusional, leverage, dan intellectual capital terhadap kinerja keuangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan subsektor properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2016 -2019. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 29 perusahaan yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling dan metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS Versi 20. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa leverage tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Sedangkan dewan direksi, kepemilikan institusional dan intellectual capital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan subsektor properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia.
