Abstract

As the creative industry develops, it needs to be balanced with facilities that can accommodate the activities of creative actors to create, interact, and collaborate. The Creativity Development Center or Creative Hub building is a place that facilitates creative industry activists. South Tangerang City as an urban sprawl area from the capital city of Jakarta has the potential to become an advanced new city in Banten Province. South Tangerang City has a large population of productive age, which can make South Tangerang City easier and faster to develop. However, until now South Tangerang City does not have a Creativity Development Center to facilitate its people. Moreover, currently facilities that are friendly to people with Deaf disabilities are often neglected because they are considered almost the same as the abilities of people in general. People with special needs who are deaf need an activity that can build enthusiasm and feelings of pleasure to fulfill psychological needs. In this design, the Deaf Space Design principle will be applied with a Typological approach which is then combined with the Semi-Circle Pattern theme which according to Bauman in (Harahap & Lelo, 2020) Deaf Space design requires a curved shape both in the form of furniture, Layout and circulation. The curved or semi-circle shape will facilitate the Deaf Space because it provides wider and more even visual access. With this design, it is hoped that South Tangerang will have the most complete creativity development center building in Indonesia and can be active in carrying out creativity activities so as to open up more opportunities for its people including deaf disabilities to be able to do activities, by applying Deaf Space design principles. Keywords: Creativity Development Center; Creative; South Tangerang; Interior; Deaf Seiring berkembangnya industri kreatif perlu diimbangi dengan fasilitas yang dapat mewadahi kegiatan para pelau kreatif untuk berkreasi, berinteraksi, dan berkolaborasi. Bangunan Pusat Pengembangan Kreatifitas atau Creative Hub merupakan suatu tempat yang memfasilitasi penggiat industri kreatif. Kota Tangerang Selatan sebagai daerah Urban Sprawl dari Ibu Kota Jakarta memiliki potensi menjadi Kota Baru yang maju di Provinsi Banten. Kota Tangerang Selatan memiliki banyak penduduk usia produktif dapat menjadikan Kota Tangerang Selatan menjadi lebih mudah dan cepat berkembang. Namun sampai saat ini Kota Tangerang Selatan belum memiliki Pusat Pengembangan Kreatifitas untuk memfasilitasi masyarakatnya. Terlebih lagi saat ini fasilitas yang ramah bagi penyandang insan tuli kerap kali terabaikan karna dianggap hampir sama dengan kemampuan orang pada umumnya. Masyarakat berkebutuhan khusus Tuli membutuhkan suatu aktivitas yang dapat membangun semangat serta perasaan senang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan psikologis. Pada perancangan ini akan diterapkan prinsip Desain Deaf Space dengan pendekatan Tipologis yang kemudian dipadukan dengan tema Semi-Circle Pattern yang menurut Bauman dalam (Harahap & Lelo, 2020) desain Deaf Space memerlukan bentuk lengkung baik dalam bentuk furniture, tata letak dan juga sirkulasi. Bentuk lengkung atau semi circle akan memudahkan ruang gerak Tuli karena memberikan akses visual yang lebih luas dan merata. Dengan Perancangan ini diharapkan Tangerang Selatan akan memiliki bangunan pusat pengembangan kreatifitas terlengkap di Indonesia dan dapat aktif dalam melakukan kegiatan kreatifitas sehingga membuka peluang lebih banyak kepada masyarakatnya termasuk insan tuli untuk dapat berkegiatan, dengan menerapkan prinsip desain Deaf Space.
