Abstract
This study was made to find out the internal control procedures for the payroll cycle in accordance with the applicable accounting policy. The object of his research is the Ministry of Industry. So this study was conducted to determine the internal control of the payroll cycle in the Ministry of Industry and to analyze the need for internal development in the payroll cycle. This method is qualitative descriptive. Data were obtained using study techniques by interviewing and distributing questionnaires. The data produced, analyzed and reviewed are then the results of the analysis that are elaborated and detailed in detail. The results of the study found by the authors are Internal Control over the Payroll Cycle at the Ministry of Industry still needs development. The writer wants the Ministry of Industry to carry out internal control over its payroll cycle and adds various functions that are responsible for internal control processes in the payroll cycle Keywords: Internal Control, Payroll. Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui prosedur pengendalian internal atas siklus penggajian yang sesuai dengan peraturan akuntansi yang berlaku. Objek penelitiannya adalah Kemeterian Perindustrian. Maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk pengetahui pengendalian intrnal atas siklus penggajian di Kementerian Perindustrian dan untuk menganalisa apakal perlu dilakukannya pengembangan pengendalian internal atas siklus penggajian. Metodi ini yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik studi dengan cara wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner. Data yang dihasilkan, dianalisa dan ditelaah, kemudian hasil analisa dijabarkan dan dijelaskan secara detail. Hasil penelitian yang didapat oleh penulis adalah Pengendalian Inernal atas Siklus Penggajian di Kemeterian Perindustrian masih perlu pengembangan. Penulis menyarankan agar Kementerian Perindustrian merancang sendiri prosedur pengendalian internal atas siklus penggajiannya dan menambahkan berbagai fungsi yang bertanggung jawab dalam proses pengendalian inernal atas siklus penggajian Kata kunci: Pengendalian Internal, Penggajian
