Abstract

The scrap process is an activity to cut not good tires. Based on the Manual Material Handling at Work: a Brief Guide (2020), lifting tires in the scrap process has a high risk of injury. From the results of the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, the most painful body parts are the arms and waist which are closely related to the process of lifting weights. The initial analysis has a final REBA score of 11 which is included in the very high risk level and requires immediate corrective action. Meanwhile, the final RULA score of 7 which is included in the category needs to be investigated and implemented improvements. To reduce the level of risk, it is necessary to improving working posture of scrap operators using a rational method with REBA and RULA analysis on Digital Human Modeling which is simulated using CATIA software. In the proposed working posture, the REBA rating score reduced to 2 (low) which may require action and the RULA score is reduced to 3 (medium) with changes that may be required. Berdasarkan panduan Manual Material Handling at Work : a Brief Guide (2020), pengangkatan ban pada proses scrap memiliki risiko cidera tinggi. Dari hasil kuesioner Nordic Body Map, bagian tubuh yang paling sakit adalah lengan dan pinggang yang erat kaitannya dengan proses angkat beban. Analisa awal memiliki final score REBA sebesar 11 yang masuk dalam level risiko sangat tinggi dan membutuhkan tindakan perbaikan segera. Sedangkan final score RULA sebesar 7 yang termasuk kategori perlu diinvestigasi dan dilakukan penerapan perbaikan. Untuk mengurangi level risiko, diperlukan perbaikan postur kerja operator scrap menggunakan metode rasional dengan analisis REBA dan RULA pada Digital Human Modelling yang disimulasikan menggunakan software CATIA. Pada usulan postur kerja, skor penilaian REBA turun menjadi 2 (rendah) yang mungkin memerlukan tindakan dan skor RULA berkurang menjadi 3 (sedang) dengan perubahan yang mungkin diperlukan.
