Abstract
Peran Komunikasi Interpersonal Orang Tua Terhadap Anak Dalam Perilaku Bullying (Studi Kasus Bullying Anak di Perumahan MGT, Bekasi). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran komunikasi interpersonal tersebut untuk memudahkan komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak dalam hal keefektivan edukasi tentang perilaku bullying, sekaligus menjembatani keterbukaan komunikasi orang tua dan anak. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi yang berusaha menggambarkan, menganalisis mengenai peran komunikasi interpersonal orangtua dan anak dalam perilaku bullying. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelitian melalui wawancara dan observasi yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Peneliti juga menggunakan lima unsur efektivitas komunikasi interpersonal yang sesuai dengan fokus penelitian, yakni: keterbukaan (openness), empati (empathy), dukungan (suportiveness), rasa positif (positivness), kesetaraan (equality). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan komunikasi interpersonal orang tua dan anak tidak berjalan dengan efektif, hal ini disebabkan oleh penyampaian pesan dan penerimaan pesan yang bersifat relatif sehingga komunikasi kurang tepat sasaran dalam pemahaman orang tua dan anak. Kata kunci : Komunikasi Interpersonal, Orang Tua, Anak , Bullying The Role of Interpersonal Communication between Parents and Children in Bullying Behavior (Case Study of Child Bullying at MGT Housing, Bekasi). This research aims to find out the role of interpersonal communication in facilitating communication between parents and children in terms of the effectiveness of education about bullying behavior, as well as bridging open communication between parents and children. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach which seeks to describe and analyze the role of interpersonal communication between parents and children in bullying behavior. Data collection was carried out by research through interviews and observations related to research. Researchers also used five elements of interpersonal communication effectiveness that are in accordance with the research focus, namely: openness, empathy, support, positive feelings, equality. Based on the results of research and discussion, interpersonal communication between parents and children does not work effectively, this is due to the relative nature of sending messages and receiving messages so that communication is not on target in the understanding of parents and children.
