Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran humas Suku Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Jakarta Utara dalam memberikan layanan informasi kepada masyarakat melalui media sosial. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah metode pendeketan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada narasumber. Terdapat 3 orang narasumber yaitu Kepala Seksi, Divisi Media Sosial, dan Direksi Liputan Kegiatan Suku Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Jakarta Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa point peran humas menurut Dozier & Broom yang dijalankan oleh Divisi Media Sosial selaku yang mengelola seluruh informasi Sudin LH Jakarta Utara yaitu Teknisi Komunikasi, dimana untuk menyuguhkan segala sesuatu informasi dan berinteraksi dengan stakeholdernya baik internal maupun eksternal melalui media komunikasi seperti media sosial. Dan juga sebagai Fasilitator Komunikas yang dimana pihak Sudin LH Jakarta Utara memposisikannya menjadi pengamat serta penghubung komunikasi antara Dinas dengan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Peran Humas, Layanan Informasi, Media Sosial, Masyarakat ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the role of public relations of the North Jakarta Environmental Agency Tribe in providing information services to the public through social media. The research used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The method applied to this research is a descriptive qualitative approach method by conducting in-depth interviews with resource persons. There were 3 speakers, namely the Head of Section, Social Media Division, and Director of Coverage of Tribal Activities of the North Jakarta Environmental Agency. The results showed that there are several points of public relations according to Dozier & Broom which are run by the Social Media Division as the one who manages all information Sudin LH North Jakarta, namely Communication Technicians, where to present all information and interact with stakeholders both internally and externally through communication media such as social media. And also as a Communication Facilitator where the Sudin LH North Jakarta positions him as an observer and communication liaison between the Office and the community.
