Abstract
PT XYZ is a company engaged in the seaweed snack food industry which has a distribution chain from the main factory in Tangerang to the distributor center located in the Jabodetabek, West Java and East Java areas. The distribution system of seaweed snack products into the hands of distributors is deemed not optimal because they often face problems with inaccurate delivery schedules and forecasts and a fairly large annual distribution cost, therefore the company must be able to handle these problems properly. In this study, the method used to analyze the problem there are 3 methods, namely the method of single moving average, exponential smoothing and linear regression. To solve distribution problems, the method used is the distribution requirements planning method, which is analyzed using the lot sizing technique, namely the Lot For Lot (LFL), Ecoomic Order Quatity (EOQ) dan Period Order Quatity (POQ) methods. From the results of the analysis, the Period Order Quatity (POQ) method was chosen because this method produces the most efficient cost calculation. Keywords: Supply Chain Management, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Inventory, Forecasting PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri pangan snack rumput laut yang memiliki rantai distribusi dari pabrik utama di Tangerang ke distributor Center yang berada di wilayah Jabodetabek, Jabar dan Jatim. Sistem distribusi produk snack rumput laut ke tangan distributor dirasa belum optimal dikarenakan seringkali menghadapi permasalahan jadwal pengiriman dan peramalannya yang kurang tepat serta beban biaya distribusi yang cukup besar pertahunnya, oleh sebab itu perusahaan harus bisa menangani permasalahan tersebut dengan baik. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisa permasalahan ada 3 metode yaitu metode single moving average, eksponensial smoothing dan regresi linier dan dari hasil perbandingan ketiga metode peramalan terpilih metode terbaik yaitu metode regresi linier karena menghasilkan nilai kesalahan terkecil. Dan untuk mengatasi masalah distribusi, metode yang digunakan adalah metode distribution requirement planning (DRP) yang analisanya menggunakan teknik lot sizing yaitu dengan metode Lot For Lot (LFL), Ecoomic Order Quatity (EOQ) dan Period Order Quatity (POQ). Dari hasil analisa tersebut metode Period Order Quatity (POQ) yang dipilih karena metode ini yang menghasilkan perhitungan biaya yang paling efisien. Kata Kunci : Supply Chain Management, Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP), Peramalan, Persediaan.
