Abstract

The high cost of using PAM water in the UBPP LM production area will definitely burden the company, where the continuous increase in energy prices will have a direct impact on production costs. The high cost of paying for PAM water is seen by the incompatibility of the existing realization with the 2020 Activity Plan and Budget (RKAB) that has been made. The research with the title "Utilizing Waste Water into Clean Water to Reduce PAM Water Use With Recycling Method at UBPP Logam Mulia Jakarta", has a problem formulation, namely what are the causes of high PAM water use in UBPP LM production areas and what are the proposed improvements to reduce PAM water use. in the production area of UBPP LM and how the proposed improvement is carried out. The purpose of this study is to identify the cause of the high use of PAM water in UBPP LM, and to reuse water from wastewater treatment by reprocessing it into clean water by the recycling method, and analysis of proposed improvements using the PDCA method (Plan, Do, Check, Action). ). This study uses the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) method. Based on the data analysis conducted, it is concluded that from the analysis of the factors that cause the high use of pump water in the production area, especially in wet scrubber operations, it is caused by several factors such as human factors, methods, materials, and machines/tools, and suggestions for improvement to reduce the use of PAM water in the production area of UBPP LM, namely reusing water from liquid waste treatment by reprocessing it into clean water with the recycling method. The proposed improvement shows that if the treated water from recycling is reused in a sustainable manner, the company will be able to save on PAM water payments because the use of PAM water has been replaced or substituted with STP treated water. Tingginya biaya penggunaan air PAM di area produksi UBPP LM pasti akan membebankan perusahaan, dimana kenaikan harga energi yang terus terjadi akan berdampak langsung pada biaya produksi. Tingginya biaya pembayaran air PAM terlihat dengan tidak sesuainya realisasi yang ada dengan Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Belanja (RKAB) tahun 2020 yang sudah dibuat. Penelitian dengan judul “Pemanfaatan Air Buangan Menjadi Air Bersih Untuk Menurunkan Pemakaian Air PAM Dengan Metode Recycling Di UBPP Logam Mulia Jakarta”, memiliki rumusan masalah yaitu apa saja penyebab tingginya pemakaian air PAM di area produksi UBPP LM dan apa usulan perbaikan untuk menurunkan pemakaian air PAM di area produksi UBPP LM dan bagaimana usulan perbaikan tersebut dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi penyebab tingginya pemakain air PAM di UBPP LM, dan memanfaatkan kembali air hasil pengolahan limbah cair dengan cara diolah kembali menjadi air bersih dengan metode recycling, dan analisis usulan perbaikan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action). Berdasarkan analisa data yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dari hasil analisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan tingginya pemakaian air pam di area produksi, khususnya pada operasional wet scrubber diakibatkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti faktor manusia, metode, material, dan mesin/alat, dan Usulan perbaikan untuk menurunkan pemakaian air PAM di area produksi UBPP LM yaitu memanfaatkan kembali air hasil pengolahan limbah cair dengan cara diolah kembali menjadi air bersih dengan metode recycling. Usulan perbaikan tersebut menunjukkan jika air hasil olahan dari recycling dimanfaatkan kembali secara berkelanjutan, perusahaan akan dapat menghemat pembayaran air PAM dikarenakan pemakaian air PAM sudah digantikan atau disubtitusikan dengan air hasil olahan STP.
